Chapter 85 - Life Energy

As soon as Odin said that, all of his brothers understood what he was planning.

When they realized his intention, they turned their gazes toward the girl with strange anticipation, charged with excitement.

Poseidon spoke in an encouraging tone:

— Come on, little one, do it!

Hades added confidently:

— You can do it. Just believe in yourself.

Athena said with a warm smile:

— Don't worry, my little one. Just focus.

When the child heard the enthusiasm and encouragement of her mother and uncles, she took a deep breath, trying to suppress the blush that crept onto her face because of them.

She lifted her eyes toward Odin, her embarrassment obvious.

When Odin noticed her discomfort, he turned to his brothers and said coldly, on purpose:

— You all, leave… and wait for your punishment. Go. Leave this place.

Athena immediately protested:

— She's my daughter! I should be by her side in moments like this.

But Odin did not respond to her words.

Athena finally sighed, then she and her brothers disappeared—though they did not truly leave as Odin had ordered. Instead, they stood near the entrance of the cave, where they could clearly observe what was happening.

In truth, Odin had never intended to force them away; he merely wanted to calm the child so she would not feel nervous or pressured.

When Odin saw his brothers vanish, he turned to the girl and spoke in a gentler tone:

— What do you think now? We're alone… Go on, just try to use your power to envelop this poor bird.

Upon hearing Odin's words, Athena's daughter replied respectfully:

— Understood, Lord Odin.

Odin chuckled softly when he heard her address him with his title in such a situation. He wanted to ask her not to use formal titles when they were alone, but he did not wish to distract her, so he decided to postpone it.

The child approached the injured bird and looked at it with calm eyes, almost cold from intense focus.

When she came close enough, she slightly raised her hands and summoned the Life Energy she had awakened.

She tried to envelop the bird with that energy and found it far easier than she had imagined.

All she had to do was think—and the energy responded to her commands with perfect smoothness.

The moment the Life Energy touched the injured bird's body, the healing accelerated at a rate visible to the naked eye.

The wounds vanished, the wings regained their strength, as if time itself had been reversed.

After a few moments, she heard Odin's calm voice:

— That's enough, little one… You've already succeeded in healing it.

When the child heard that, she quickly dispersed the Life Energy.

Before her stood a bird completely whole, without a single scratch—as if nothing had ever happened.

The child smiled at what had occurred, but after a brief moment she felt something strange creeping inside her.

Her smile faded. She lifted her gaze toward Odin hesitantly and said:

— Ah… my lord, I feel something strange.

When Odin heard that, he frowned slightly, then spoke in a warm, reassuring tone:

— Don't worry about titles anymore, little one. You can call me "Uncle Odin" when we're alone.

Then he added, watching her closely:

— And what do you mean by "something strange"?

The child was surprised by his words and hadn't expected such closeness from him, but she hurried to speak before the feeling faded. She said, a little shy—this being the first time she spoke this way:

— U-Uncle Odin… I think I can control the bird through the Life Energy I healed it with.

When Odin heard that, he fell silent for a moment, his thoughts sinking into a deep, mysterious place.

Then he sent a swift spiritual message to his brothers outside the cave:

— Come to us immediately. Bring one beast with severe injuries, another with moderate injuries, and another with minor injuries… Now.

As soon as the message reached his brothers, they vanished from where they had been hiding.

Only moments passed before Hades appeared before Odin, carrying a massive serpent nearly twice his own size, and said steadily:

— I've brought it.

The child was shocked by what happened.

Just moments ago, she had been speaking calmly with Uncle Odin about the strange sensation after healing the bird. When he didn't immediately respond, she assumed he was simply thinking about her words… but she never expected Uncle Hades to suddenly appear carrying such a terrifying beast.

Confusion and bewilderment washed over the child. She was about to ask Uncle Odin what was happening, but before she could utter a single word, Poseidon arrived.

She saw Poseidon appear holding a strange, winged lion and said calmly:

— I brought the beast with the moderate injury.

Before the child could fully comprehend what was happening, she saw her mother, Athena, arrive, carrying a massive dog radiating a frightening aura despite its minor injury. Athena said:

— I brought the beast with the minor injury.

When Odin saw the three beasts had arrived, he lightly waved his hand toward his brothers and said:

— Leave now. I don't want the child to feel uncomfortable.

His brothers obeyed without argument. They fully understood what Odin was planning, even though curiosity gnawed at all of them:

Was what Odin was thinking truly possible?

Or was it merely a bold guess?

After they left, a calm smile appeared on Odin's face as he looked at the little girl and said encouragingly:

— What do you think now, little one… Would you like to heal these poor creatures?
