Zaki, Amuro, and Kisho had been driving all over Katori in search of Shiro.
KISHO : "We've been driving around for almost an hour. Where the hell is your beast friend?"
- Kisho complained that while he was driving, he was beginning to lose his patience.
AMURO : "He could be knocked down by the sidewalk. He usually loses consciousness after using his ability."
- Amuro spoke while sitting in the backseat, looking around the window, trying to find Shiro.
ZAKI : "Oh? He gets knocked out every time after his ability turns off?"
- He asked curiously with his eyes slightly widened
AMURO : "It's the side effects of being a half beast, I guess."
- He explained, with his face calm.
ZAKI : "Hmmm… He's an interesting one"
- Zaki replied, with a slight smirk on his face.
ZAKI : "A half beast and half human, one whose body can't withstand its powers, but then, there's something odd about his energy, I remember it being similar to Rika."
- Zaki thinks to himself, trying to piece out what Shiro really is.
- Suddenly, Kisho spoke.
KISHO : "Is that… him?"
Zaki and Amuro peeked their heads, leaning closer to the front windshield to get a closer look at a body collapsed by the floor, across from an apartment building.
AMURO : "That's him."
- He spoke without hesitation.
Kisho pulls over on the side of the road by the parking lot of the apartment building. The three stepped out to see Shiro's body collapsed on the side of the road, face-first. His clothes were covered in blood, and his sleeves were torn. Guessing from how his abilities work, it may have been the cause of it.
KISHO : "He doesn't look good."
- He commented after the sight of seeing Shiro's collapsed body before he lit up a cigarette.
The three approached Shiro's collapsed body, thankfully no one was around to see the sight.
They look down at him, thinking of what to do.
ZAKI : "Can we put him in the trunk?"
- Zaki commented with a wide grin on his face,
- Amuro squatted down, before putting a finger on the side of Shiro's neck to check his pulse.
AMURO : "No can do, he's Yoriha's favorite."
KISHO : "F- Favorite…?"
- Spoke with a slight surprise in his voice, his cigarette barely touching his mouth as if he stopped before taking a hit.
KISHO : "FAVORITE?!"
- He yelled in frustration.
Zaki and Amuro looked at Kisho in surprise, confused by the sudden outburst.
KISHO : "I- I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HER FAVORITE! YOU'RE SAYING THIS HALF BEAST IS HER NEW FAVORITE?!"
- Kisho yelled with anger and jealousy.
- Zaki placed an arm on Kisho's shoulder.
ZAKI : "I know~ But I guess Yoriha has a thing for beast people… I'm quite surprised too~"
- Zaki tried to comfort Kisho, but in a teasing way.
AMURO : "Wait a minute, you have a thing going for Ms. Yoriha?"
- He asked, slightly confused.
KISHO : "DON'T TALK! YOU USED TO HAVE A THING FOR HER DURING OUR NEWBIE DAYS!"
- Kisho suddenly confronted Amuro.
Amuro's expression changed, from confused to frustrated, and his brows went down in anger. He stood up and walked closer to Kisho.
AMURO : "HA?!"
AMURO : "YOU MUST BE JOKING! I'VE NEVER HAD ANYTHING FOR MS. YORIHA!"
KISHO : "HUH?! YOU ONCE TOLD ME HOW YOU WANTED TO CLIMB UP THE RANKS AND DATE HER!"
AMURO : "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?! I FOUND HER BEAUTIFUL, BUT I DIDN'T ACTUALLY LIKE HER!"
KISHO : "ADMIT IT! YOU ALWAYS LIKED GOING TO HER OFFICE ALL BY YOURSELF TO DO A REPORT, BUT YOU REALLY LOVED SEEING THE SIGHT OF HER IN FRONT OF YOU!"
AMURO : "WHEN DID I EVER TELL YOU THAT?!"
Zaki watched the sight of the two fighting and having a little argument; it was quite funny.
ZAKI : "Wow. Never seen Amuro snap like that."
- He watched calmly from the side, seeing the two argue about their feelings for Yoriha.
ZAKI : "Never knew Yoriha had so many men after her."
- He commented.
That comment only made the two look directly at him at the same time, with a frustrated look.
KISHO : "Oh? And look at Mr. Division Lead 'V' here bragging~ I'm sure you've banged her once, haven't you?"
ZAKI : "What?!"
KISHO : "You must be sneaking into her office at night shifts and doing the shabang with her."
Kisho and Amuro both imagined the scene of Zaki sneaking into Yoriha's office to do the deed.
AMURO : "The scene of that in my head is quite funny, I'll be honest."
- Kisho looked back at Amuro.
KISHO : "Actually, yeah, it's weird but pretty amusing…"
Zaki's face was horrified, his mouth was wide open with his eyes were wide. He's surprised at how they'd even imagine or think of something like that.
ZAKI : "I HAVE A WIFE, YOU IDIOITS!"
- He yelled at Amuro and Kisho.
AMURO & KISHO : "HAAAAAAAAAA?!"
The two were surprised to find out Zaki was married, but to whom?
KISHO : "TO WHO?! IS IT REIWA?! IS IT MS. SHOYA?! OR IS IT MS. KIO?!"
- Kisho didn't hesitate to lean towards Zaki, asking him numerous questions.
Zaki was stunned by the sudden questions, but he stayed firm and acted confident.
ZAKI : "Hm… they're quite hot, but my wife is certainly hotter!"
- He bragged with confidence while adjusting his sunglasses.
KISHO : "HEH?! THERE'S SOMEONE ELSE HOTTER THAN THOSE THREE?! WHO IS IT?!"- Kisho's excitement was everywhere.
Zaki stayed silent, keeping his firm and confident stance while having a smirk on his face.
ZAKI : "Hehe."
While all of that was happening, Amuro was just watching from the side as he noticed Shiro waking up. Shiro lifted his body, making grunting noises as if he had a bad sleep.
SHIRO :Grunts "What the…"
SHIRO : "Oh… you guys found me."
The three looked at Shiro as he sat up on the ground, scratching his head.
KISHO : "Oh, Ms. Yoriha's favorite is finally awake."
- Kisho commented while taking a hit on his cigarette,
SHIRO : "Huh…? Ms. Yoriha's favorite?"
- His voice was groggy, tired, as if he had just woken up from a bad sleep.
ZAKI : "How was your sleep, prince half beast?"- He teased.
SHIRO : "Horrible."
- He said as he scratched his head.
SHIRO : "Did you guys… get the other beasts?"- He added.
AMURO : "Nope, we lost them. Contacted the patrol team to scout the entire area, though they could be anywhere."
- He replied while lighting up a cigarette.
SHIRO : "Great… so what now?"- He asked.
AMURO : "I guess we report back to Ms. Yoriha about the investigation."
KISHO : "HE JUST WANTS TO GET A BETTER SIGHT OF HER IN HER OFFICE!"
- He confronts Amuro, pointing his finger at him.
AMURO : "I DON'T!"- He snapped.
