The female child stares at the broken-down building; it's pouring rain, causing the fires from the explosion earlier to be extinguished. She waits there, as her mind stirs up many questions. Other children who escaped with her didn't hesitate to run away and seek shelter, or to find their homes again.
The child's purple eyes were in despair, full of shock and questions. Looking down at the debris of rocks from the building.
She didn't run away, she stayed, she waited for the man to come back to get answers, and give him a thank you. Cause she had nowhere to go.
Her clothes, hair, and body were drenched from the rain, but she stood there, waiting.
And then… Debri started to move slightly, as if someone was trying to get out from all the rubble. The child's eyes widen, and her mouth slightly opens.
The man pushes the debris away from him, tossing some on the side, to get himself out of the mess, and there he is.
Gloraski stood up from the rubble, his clothes were messy, his face was all scratched, but he was basically unharmed. He looks around him, seeing that the children he helped escape earlier had run away.
"They must've run away to find shelter, or find their homes."
He thought to himself. But then, he sees the female child with white hair and purple-like galaxy eyes.
"What are you-"
Before he could even finish his words, he was startled by the female child who ran towards him to give him a warm hug.
"What…?"He thought to himself, surprised by the sudden hug he was given.
But he accepted it, his mouth twisted to a wholesome smile, as he let the child hug him, while he then placed a hand on her head, patting her.
"Mister…"
The female child murmured, while her face was buried on his stomach, while she was hugging him.
"Thank you… for saving us."
She then looked up at Gloraski, her arms still wrapped around him, but her eyes were beginning to tear up.
Gloraski looked at the child's tearful face before he knelt to reach face level with the kid; he was still smiling.
"What's your name?"
He asked as he put an arm on the child's shoulder.
The child was still crying, she was rubbing her face, but the question made her raise her head.
"M- My name is.. Yoriha."
"What about you… Mister?"
Gloraski's eyes were soft, his lips were still twisted into a smile. His entire face and energy were gentle and smooth.
"Shiro Gloraski…"
"But you can call me Shiro."
He answered with a gentle voice.
Yoriha nodded; she was still crying as she rubbed her eyes with her two hands.
"Don't cry… you're safe now."
Gloraski assured her before patting her head once again.
Yoriha nodded as she rubbed her face from the tears. Everything felt light and gentle, because for once in her life, she had finally felt… safe.

The year is 2026. Yoriha is in her office, sitting in her chair by her desk, as she looks at the window behind her to see Shiro, Zaki, and Amuro talking outside the B.S.C. Headquarters. It was night, around 7:20 PM.
She smiles as her eyes focuses at Shiro.
"If reincarnation is real, then I hope that it's you, father."
"Because, this time, I'll be the one to look after you, Shiro."
She thought to herself, still smiling, and her eyes locked in on Shiro while she was looking down at him from her office.
"You're just like him, Shiro."
She looks back at her office desk, gazing at the picture frame of Shiro Gloraski and her, celebrating her birthday. Her lips twisted into a soft, gentle smile.

Morning at 8:27 AM. Shiro, Zaki, Amuro, and Kisho are lined up right beside each other in front of Yoriha's desk in her office. As she sat in her chair.
"Today, I will hand out the punishments for each of you."
Yoriha spoke as she opened a file on her desk.
The four stood, Kisho was nervous as he swallowed his own saliva from how scared he is, Amuro was calm and collected, always having this blank stare in his eyes. Zaki was playing around with the lollipop in his mouth, while Shiro was just ready to hear out the punishments.
"Hmmm.. okay."
Yoriha hummed, checking the file she opened earlier.
"Kisho, Amuro, and Zaki."
Zaki and Kisho jumped at the sudden mention of their names, but Amuro stayed calm.
"For breaking Rule 31A, abandoning an investigation, and 'accidentally' putting the entirety of Katori in lockdown…"
Yoriha stayed silent for a little while, thinking of a punishment.
"1 week of cleaning duty, and 30% cut from your salaries this current month!"
She raised a finger as she said that, with a confident smile on her face.
"ONE WEEK?!"
Kisho and Zaki yelled, surprised by the punishment.
"Mhm~ But you, Zaki, will only get three~"
Yoriha smiled.
"ONLY THREE?! WHY DOES HE GET THREE WHILE WE GET A WEEK?!"
Kisho complained, obviously not satisfied with the given punishment.
"Because Zaki will begin training Shiro~ And that will be Shiro's punishment, which is one month of relentless training and lessons in Visionary Academy~"
Yoriha seemed very satisfied and enthuastic of the punishment she's handing out.
"I take that as a reward! I can finally teach again!"
Zaki exclaimed, excited to begin teaching.
Kisho had an annoyed look on his face, clearly not satisfied with getting one week of cleaning duty while Zaki and Shiro get to train.
"So much for favoritism.."
He whispered, barely audible.
Yoriha quickly looked at Kisho.
"What was that, Kisho?"
"Ha? I- Nothing! Ms. Yoriha~"
Kisho bowed; his face was visibly sweating.
Yoriha had a skeptical look at Kisho, but she brushed it off before speaking again.
"You can start today, or tomorrow~ Up to you."
"That is all for today, you may leave now."
The four began to walk out of her office, and Kisho had an annoyed look the whole time. But before Shiro was about to walk out the door…
"Shiro! Wait a moment!"
She yelled, calling out Shiro.
Shiro turned back before approaching Yoriha in front of her desk.
Yoriha then rushed out of her chair and went in front of Shiro, before untying his White Tie.
"Huh..? Yoriha…?"
Shiro was visibly blushing, confused about what she was doing.
"Relax, this should be a big announcement to the whole organization… but I'd rather do it quietly."
Yoriha removed his White tie from his neck before replacing it with an Orange one.
"A- A new tie..?"
Shiro asked, letting Yoriha do his tie for him.
"Mhm~ It's a new rank! You're now a Grade 4 Beast Hunter!"
Yoriha explained, while doing his tie, her eyes were pointed down as she was focused on making his tie neat.
After she finishes, she salutes him in a joking way.
"I hereby announce, Shiro Hiyoshi, rank-up to a Grade 4 Beast Hunter!"
She playfully spoke, forcing a deep voice.
"I-… I- Thank you! Ms. Yoriha!"
He decided to play along, putting his hand by his forehead to salute Yoriha.
