In 2104, The world has already ended, but its consequences haven’t. In the OctaCore: the last of humanity's shelters, resources are limited and the radiation is rising fast. Within two years, the surface will become unlivable. Long before that, the food will run out.

The monsters that destroyed the world are still out there, but they’re no longer the worst threat. With the shelters on the brink, the council faces an impossible choice: Cull 80% of the population to preserve the remaining 20%, or Launch a suicidal mission into the wasteland to retrieve a supply shipment that could sustain humanity long enough to rebuild.

A small team is chosen for the Hail Mary attempt. Memory-scarred survivors, soldiers who’ve already lost too much, and civilians carrying secrets they’d kill to protect—bound together by the thin hope that something out there might still be worth saving.

Outside, they will face the world that once was: a ruined city haunted by monsters, nazis and the aftermath of choices no one wants to admit they made.

At the secure house, Egon and Charlotte activated the traps and locked themselves in the upstairs room. Egon needed to tend to his wounds, but he couldn't remove his suit. The air was not safe.


Egon got the knife strapped to his belt. He tore the hole in the suit wider and began digging the bullet out. It wasn't painless, but he's done it before.


Once it was out, Egon activated the knife, heating the blade. He pressed it on the wound and sealed it.


Then, he Grabbed a roll of duct tape From the belt and said in a deep voice "I'm batman". He used the tape to patch the tear in his suit. The suit's beeping stopped. The atmosphere was once again isolated.


For the night, Egon and Charlotte slept close to each other, away from the door's line of fire.


Next morning, Egon was awaken by a sudden electric shock. As his eyes opened, the door was busted open. A man stepped in. He fell to the ground, trembling and writhing in pain with 16 bullets in his body. It didn't last long.


Egon began to move. Just as he sat upright, another intruder, a woman, entered the room. She held an unsilenced pistol and pointed it directly at them.


Without hesitation, Egon grabbed the knife lying near him and flung it at her head. But before the knife could reach its target, the woman squeezed the trigger. His body evaded the bullet on its own. Yet the loud gunshot stunned his senses. It'd been a while since he heard an unsilenced gunshot. It momentarily disrupted his focus.


Egon Regained his focus. First instinct: eliminate the enemy.


However, he realized, A shot was fired in his direction and he wasn't hit.
