"Intruder! Intruder!", one of the chained women screamed.
Jenny retreated fast. She ran back behind the palm leaves. Two men cam running. The woman pointed towards her.
Jenny took off, running as fast as she could. She sprinted through the villa gate and down the empty streets. Her lungs burned. But she kept running.
Finally she reached the secure house. Inside, she hid in the kitchen. It was close to the back door. An easy escape if they came after her.
The door of the house creaked opened. Jenny attempted to slip out through the back door. She couldn't. There was another man in the yard. She got into the kitchen closet and closed it behind her.
It was pitch black. Only a faint sliver of light Sneaked through the gap in the closet doors. Steffi and monica couldn't see.
Footsteps. Outside the closet. They got closer. And closer. Then, a long silence.
