In Abi and Steffi's truck, they had dinner in silence, until steffi asked "So... How did he die?"
"They said some criminals did it." Abi said.
"That's reassuring."
"Don't worry, they're all dead now."
"And you believe that?"
"I saw the last one. They cut him into pieces to get the info out of him." Abi said.
Steffi's let out a dry laugh. "killers and torturers, I really feel safe with them."
They both chuckled.
Later. lying on their bunk beds, Abi turned to Steffi. "Do you feel sad for him?"
"Not really," Steffi said. "I've lost people before."
"I don't know... I feel a little sad. Our time wasn't long, but he was memorable. I'll remember him for a while."
"That's weak..." steffi teased.
Abi laughed. "Shut the fuck up. You are the weak one. You've been stuck with that girl without any character development."
"I couldn't. She was always with that boss lady. and I was left with that silent man with half a brain."
