As El raised his hand, a violent tremor suddenly shook the entire island, yet it did not damage a single building in Dressrosa.
After a moment, Doflamingo and the others all found their perspective slowly rising.
When the super-tsunami approached, Dressrosa had risen above it, successfully escaping its path. However, islands relatively close to Dressrosa—those in the tsunami's direct trajectory—were not as fortunate.
The point of impact for the super-meteorite was several nautical miles from Dressrosa, but once the super-tsunami formed, it reached Dressrosa swiftly.
It was impossible to estimate the width of this hundreds-of-meters-high super-tsunami, nor how many kilometers it would travel before gradually diminishing and finally dispersing.
During that time, any ships or islands in its path, if left unchecked, would meet one of two fates.
One: be extremely lucky and somehow escape the disaster.
Two: have average luck and undoubtedly perish.
El was unaware of this—or rather, he hadn't yet considered it.
Not counting the meteorite he'd formed from mountains and earth after gaining his Devil Fruit, this was his first time using a space-based weapon attack.
He also hadn't expected that the super-meteorite, formed by fusing numerous space rocks and dropped from outer space to the sea, would unleash such terrifying energy.
Before striking the sea, the super-meteorite still had to pass through two buffer zones—the 10,000-meter-high White-White Sea and the 7,000-meter-high White Sea—yet it still created such a horrifying super-tsunami.
Fortunately, El's knowledge from his previous life was just sufficient, and he chose a spot in the sea several miles from Dressrosa as the super-meteorite's impact site.
Otherwise, had it struck the waters near the Kingdom of Dressrosa, the newly formed super-tsunami would have wiped the entire kingdom off the map.
Even as a Float-Float Fruit user, he couldn't have lifted all of Dressrosa over a thousand meters into the air in such a short time. Had that happened, El would have been truly doomed.
"So, how was the meteor? Beautiful, isn't it?"
After rising over a thousand meters into the sky, El looked at Doflamingo and smiled.
"What do you want?" Doflamingo asked, his throat dry, voice slightly hoarse.
"Don't be nervous. I bear you no ill will."
El looked up at the sky and said with a smile, "I came to you seeking cooperation. I just wanted to ensure our partnership would be more… sincere."
Doflamingo fell silent for a moment, but inwardly he was roaring, Sincerity?! You call this sincerity?! This is clearly a threat!
Seeing that El merely intended to intimidate him, Doflamingo forcibly calmed his emotions. His sweat-covered face once again revealed that familiar, sinister smile as he asked, "How do you wish to cooperate?"
El didn't answer. Instead, he kept his head raised, staring at the blue sky without a word.
At this, Doflamingo considered seizing the chance to launch a sneak attack and slice this bastard into countless pieces.
However, the aura fluctuations his Observation Haki perceived, along with the powerful life force that didn't match El's age, made Doflamingo dare not act.
He also knew how to use Armament Haki and possessed talent surpassing countless others in developing Devil Fruit abilities. Unfortunately, his Haki talent was average—he possessed all three types but hadn't mastered any to a high degree.
His Observation Haki hadn't reached the level of seeing the future; his Armament Haki hadn't grasped Emission or Internal Destruction; let alone Conqueror's Infusion.
Doflamingo, a former Celestial Dragon, dared to defy Admirals and even a Fleet Admiral, but he didn't dare provoke pirates like Kaido or a powerhouse like El—because these lawless fellows had no bottom line or principles.
So after witnessing the super-tsunami, Doflamingo unconsciously began treating El the same way he treated Kaido.
Seeing that El didn't answer, Doflamingo had veins bulging on his forehead, but he still followed El's gaze skyward. At the same time, anxiety crept into his heart—he wouldn't actually drop a second super-meteorite, would he?
Just as Doflamingo feared, a second meteorite did appear in the sky—but this one wasn't a space-based attack like before. It was being slowly lowered from outer space by the Float-Float Fruit's power.
"This is an iron meteorite."
Controlling the iron meteorite to halt above them, El said slowly to Doflamingo, "This iron meteorite has an iron content of 80%. Meteorites like this are countless in outer space. Do you understand what that means?"
"Hiss—"
Hearing this, Doflamingo drew a sharp, cold breath.
Looking up at the incomparably huge meteorite overhead, the eyes behind Doflamingo's sunglasses filled with fervor, and the corners of his mouth subconsciously stretched into their widest grin. "So… you're now the world's biggest iron magnate and want to cooperate with me to sell iron?"
"You're only half right."
The corner of El's mouth lifted slightly. "Iron can be sold anywhere. So why would I seek out only you, the underworld's largest arms dealer?"
"Could it be that you…"
Doflamingo's pupils shrank as he stared at El.
"Correct. I will invest in you—with steel."
El's fingers moved slightly, and a shell suddenly fell from the sky, landing before Doflamingo.
Looking at Doflamingo, whose face had turned grim upon guessing correctly, El revealed a domineering smile and said, "Give this to Kaido and inform him of my cooperation with you."
