Roxing's New Invention: Cybertronian! (Toned-down Translation)**
"Pacifista?"
A mechanical image of "Bartholomew Kuma firing lasers" flashed through Roxing's mind.
This human-type weapon created from Kuma's body and Admiral Kizaru's light powers was indeed extremely powerful.
In the original story, just one Pacifista wiped the entire Straw Hat crew at Sabaody. If not for Kizaru deliberately holding back, they might have truly been destroyed.
Virgo continued:
"According to my intel, Pacifistas were developed by Dr. Vegapunk.
Fleet Admiral Sengoku has very high hopes for them.
He wants to use this weapon to reverse the disadvantage the Navy has suffered against our Beasts Pirates."
Since Roxing invented the first Monster Cell, the Marines had been losing ground nonstop.
Many bases were destroyed.
The Celestial Dragons' tribute had been robbed twice.
Even sending Admirals to escort the tribute wasn't safe anymore—because the Beast Pirates had three top-tier combat powers comparable to Admirals:
Kaido
King (who already stepped into Emperor-level power)
The fused titan of Queen + Jack
And that was not counting Roxing or Yamato.
The Marines lost face again when Admiral Akainu failed to take back Dressrosa and was pushed back by the Three Calamities. Even the mysterious Im was shaken.
Of course the Government desperately wanted something to regain their prestige.
Vegapunk's Pacifista seemed like that hope.
Roxing briefly went through the information in his mind, then smiled.
"They want to compete with my technology?
If this was before today, that might've been troublesome.
But now…"
He glanced at his system—already upgraded to Level 6.
That meant he could finally build mechanical warriors—Cybertronians.
He had originally planned to go create one right after leaving Kozuki Hiyori's place.
But then Page One's call about Virgo and Trafalgar Law interrupted him.
Roxing looked at Virgo and said:
"You've brought good intel. Nicely done.
This Ghost-class Monster Cell is your reward."
He tossed a purple, strange-shaped piece of flesh over.
Virgo hurriedly caught it, trembling with excitement.
A Ghost-class Monster Cell!
Doflamingo had only ever managed to steal a mere Tiger-class one.
This was levels above that.
Virgo knelt, bowing deeply in gratitude. His loyalty grew even stronger.
After suffering through a period of painful adaptation, Virgo's aura suddenly surged.
"Crack—!"
The floor beneath him faintly distorted under the pressure of his rising power.
Feeling the overwhelming strength coursing through him, Virgo bowed again, even more grateful.
Roxing nodded in satisfaction.
Virgo's base strength was already around Vice Admiral level.
Now boosted by the Ghost Cell, he had risen to the level of Flying Six—almost comparable to Fuz-Fu.
He wouldn't fall quickly even against an Admiral.
This also made his long-term Navy infiltration more secure.
Then another idea flashed through Roxing's mind.
If Virgo's strength kept rising…
If he collected enough merit inside the Navy…
Could he eventually become…
A Navy Admiral undercover for the Beast Pirates?
Roxing's eyes practically sparkled.
If that really happened…
It would be hilarious.
He stood up, personally lifted Virgo to his feet, gave him a pat on the shoulder, and said:
"The Ghost Cell strengthens your body and your potential.
Work hard, keep climbing the Navy ranks.
Don't disappoint me."
Virgo stared at Roxing with burning determination.
"I will not fail your expectations, my lord!"
Filled with excitement and ambition, Virgo finally left Dressrosa.
Now having secured:
a capable future Navy insider
Trafalgar Law and the Ope Ope no Mi
Roxing was in a very good mood.
He headed toward the residence of Viola and Rebecca, the beautiful aunt-and-niece pair.
Viola, now the Queen of Dressrosa, carried a more regal aura than before.
But the moment she saw Roxing approaching, that queenly composure cracked.
She shot him a resentful glare.
"Oh, look who finally remembered us!
You still know how to come back!"
Rebecca hurriedly tugged Viola's sleeve.
"Auntie, don't talk like that to him…"
Viola huffed.
"He treated us so boldly before, and you're still defending him!
You little traitor!"
Rebecca whispered softly:
"Aren't you a woman too, Auntie…?"
"You—!"
Viola was furious, turning to leave.
But before she could take two steps—
a familiar masculine presence suddenly wrapped around her from behind.
Roxing gently held her waist and spoke close to her ear:
"I never forget the people who belong with me."
Viola froze, her cheeks instantly flushing.
"I–I am not someone who belongs with you!"
Rebecca murmured shyly:
"Auntie… we're both connected to him…"
Viola nearly fainted from embarrassment.
Rebecca added in a tiny voice:
"Auntie… if you walk away, I… I can't handle being alone with him yet…"
Viola stiffened.
She immediately understood what Rebecca meant:
Roxing's strength and stamina were overwhelming—
and Rebecca was still too young and inexperienced to handle everything alone.
But WHY would Rebecca say that OUT LOUD?!
Viola's face flushed even more.
Before she could react, Roxing lifted her into his arms and carried her toward the inner room, grabbing Rebecca's hand as well.
"Sisters should care for one another," he said calmly.
"You wouldn't want Rebecca to be exhausted, right?"
And the door closed behind them…
