Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Fate's Senkai

Somewhere on the island, near the roaring shore, Shingo stood facing his opponents — Shin and Baro, ready to settle things once and for all.

He raised his hands, sliding into a fighting stance. "Shall we get down to business?" he said calmly. Steam began to rise from his fists, as if his hands were burning from the inside.

Shin flinched in surprise. "So that's your Senkai? Impressive, learning it in just a day. But that won't be enough… we've mastered ours."

Grins spread across both their faces.

Shingo said nothing. One of his eyes began bleeding, slowly turning completely white. Then, in a flash, he vanished.

Before Shin could even react, a burning steam-fist slammed into his face, sending him flying straight into the ocean.

"Shin!" Baro shouted in panic. He turned toward Shingo, his fists now wrapped in hardened stone. "Mud Flow!" he yelled, launching a crushing punch toward Shingo's face.

"Too slow," Shingo said with a blank, cold expression and an intense glare. With just the tip of his finger, he sliced Baro cleanly in half.

Looking down at Baro's corpse, Shingo spoke calmly. "If you ever get the chance to kill an opponent, strike with full force on your first attack. That's how you throw them off guard. I hope you learn that in the afterlife."

A dark, overwhelming aura spread across the island as Shingo released his full Senkai, his demonic presence could be felt everywhere.

Shin slowly climbed back to his feet, drenched and bleeding but smiling faintly. "That threw me off guard," he said, breathing heavily. "I thought I was done for." His expression changed as he saw Baro lying lifeless beside Shingo.

Shingo smirked mischievously. "You're Shin from the Third Core of the Super Tag Force, right? Good. Now I get to fight my equal."

Meanwhile, at another end of the island, Yamato's battle with Draken raged to its end. After a fierce and devastating fight, Draken lay on the ground — bleeding, exhausted, and broken. Yamato, though also wounded, stood tall. His body glowed faintly as he healed himself completely, as if nothing had happened.

"It ends here, Draken," Yamato said firmly.

Draken's eyes trembled as memories from his childhood flooded back.

Years ago, a young Draken stood before his father, who was helping him dress for the day. When he was done, his father smiled proudly. "Son, you look like a king."

Little Draken blinked. "Dad, what's a king?" he asked curiously.

His father smiled warmly. "A king governs and protects his people. Someone who leads and brings peace to a nation. Look at me and your mother, I'm the king of this island, and she's the queen. Together, we keep order and make our people happy."

But when Draken stepped outside, the atmosphere told a different story.

Whispers filled the air among the slaves.

"Did you hear? Mr. Henry's too kind," one said mockingly. "We don't even work, and he still feeds us, and yet he calls us slaves? What a joke."

Another man chuckled. "If this keeps up, maybe we'll be the ones ruling soon… and who knows, maybe we'll even get a taste of his cute wife, Mrs. Florence."

"You're right," the first man replied, laughing cruelly.

The young Draken clenched his fists, anger burning in his chest.

Soon after, a group of slave children approached him. "Hey, look.... it's the so-called king's son!" they jeered, pushing him down and beating him until his skin was torn and bloody.

When his father saw him, he said nothing but smiled gently and tended to his wounds.

The next day, a visitor from the Koruzan came to their home. Draken's father welcomed him warmly. When the man noticed Draken's injuries, he asked, "What happened, boy? Fell from a tree?"

Draken hesitated. "Some… some kids hurt me," he admitted shyly. "But every time I show my dad, he just says, 'Don't worry, it'll be alright.'"

The visitor sighed and shook his head. "And he calls himself a king? Pathetic."

Draken looked up, curious again. "Sir, if you don't mind me asking… what's a king to you?"

The man's lips curled into a dark smile. "A king," he said slowly, "is someone who controls others and gives orders. Everything within his reach belongs to him. He does whatever he pleases, even punishes those who cross him. Forget your father's words. He's weak."

He leaned closer, his face hidden in shadow. "Tell me, boy… do you want me to make you a king?"

Draken nodded eagerly. "Yes! I want to be a king!"

The man smiled wider, his tone dropping cold and sharp. "Good. Then first… kill your parents."

Fear froze Draken's face. "W-why would I do that?" he stammered.

The man's smile twisted darker. "Kindness is a sickness, a weakness that can never be cured. To kill it, you must kill them. Only then can you become the ultimate king and rule this island. And I will give you the power to make it happen."

His voice echoed with evil satisfaction, his face still hidden in shadow.

After Draken's past memories faded, he stood up and roared, "I won't lose! Not now, not ever! And if anyone gets in my way, I'll crush them!"

He glared in Yamato's direction, but his eyes were blank, empty, as if he had lost all sense of sight or reason.

"Titan Vein: The Ultimate!" Draken shouted as his veins bulged violently, his power skyrocketing beyond anything he had shown before.

This time, Yamato wasn't surprised, he was terrified and confused. He couldn't sense a single weakness in Draken anymore. The man's Senkai flowed endlessly through his veins, with no sign of limitation or fatigue.

Yamato raised his right hand, positioning his thumb against his middle finger as if preparing to flick something. "Kyuo," he whispered.

A sphere of energy began forming at his fingertips, glowing, spinning, and surging with concentrated Senkai.

Pointing it straight at Draken, Yamato released the sphere. It exploded with immense force, swallowing Draken completely and unleashing a catastrophic blast that tore through the island. When the smoke cleared, Yamato was on one knee, exhausted, his body trembling.

"That was... a dangerous ability," said a calm voice from within the rising dust.

Draken stepped out, completely unharmed, his lips curving into a confident smile.

Meanwhile, on another part of the island, Fate stood facing his three opponents, Hajigawa, Kubu, and Rein.

They all waited, wearing smug smiles.

"As we speak," Hajigawa said mockingly, "the island is a war zone, and Lord Draken is taking good care of your companion."

Kubu snickered. "I can't even sense his Senkai anymore. Is he dying at Lord Draken's hands?"

All three of them laughed.

Fate stayed silent for a moment. Then he finally spoke. "I know Captain Yamato," he said softly. "He doesn't die that easily."

Slowly, he began untying the black leather scarf around his head.

The only reason I didn't train with Yamato and Shingo back at the cell, he thought, is because... I've already mastered my Senkai, and I still can't fully control it. That's why I've worn this scarf since I was ten.

The moment the scarf fell, his hair transformed, turning into a radiant blaze that burned like living fire.

Rein's eyes widened in disbelief. "His hair… it's glowing.... it's burning like flames! Who is this guy?"

A cold breeze swept across the island. Then Fate spoke:

"Behold my true ability."

An immense wave of power burst outward, shaking the entire island. Even Yamato, Draken, Shingo, and the villagers could feel its overwhelming pressure. Draken's expression hardened, sweat running down his face. "What... what is that presence?!"

Even Yamato couldn't identify its source. Shingo dodged Shin's attack, then glanced at the sky.

With a faint smile, he muttered, "Fate... so this is your Senkai."

The pressure was unbearable. Hajigawa, Kubu, and Rein all dropped to their knees, gasping for air.

Hajigawa forced himself up and charged at Fate, summoning his water ability. But before he could get close, his head was severed cleanly from his neck.

Kubu froze, trembling, tears streaming down his face as he vomited in fear.

Rein, however, managed to see a glimpse of what happened.

I saw it… barely, he thought in horror. When Hajigawa ran in, beams of light shaped like blades surrounded Fate. They sliced through him before I could even blink.

Determined, Rein shouted, "I just have to strike before he does!"

He dashed forward at blinding speed, placing his hand on Fate's chest.

"Explosion Inferno!"

A massive blast erupted, but when the smoke cleared, Fate stood behind Rein, calmly holding his heart in his hand.

Rein's eyes widened as his strength faded. "B-but... how?" he whispered before collapsing.

Kubu fell to his knees, crying uncontrollably. "Please! Spare me! I'll run away! I swear I'll never cause trouble again!"

Fate crouched beside him, smiling gently. "Okay."

In the next instant, a massive light sword burst from Fate's hand, piercing through Kubu's head and slicing him cleanly in half.

Fate rose, gazing down at the corpses.

"This is what you get for causing pain," he said coldly.

Then, with calm composure, he tied his scarf back around his head, his hair returning to normal.

As he walked away, his presence still radiated across the island, calm, yet overwhelmingly divine.
