The darkness taht envelopped Zero cleared, revealing an abyss even greater still.
'Oh shit!'
He was falling.
In something that happened to feel like an egg.
Suddenly, the strange capsule he was in hit the ground.
*CRACK*
And with that, Zero could finaly see where he was.
An endless expanse of Darkness, with river of Pure void cascading down the mountains.
Around him, trees seemingly made of Soul stood, flaying softly in the wind.
The scene was more than idyllic, if it wasn't for the massive Worms made of pure darkness doing -18 activities in the distance.
'What in the Cultists' wet dream am I ?!'
Looking down at his own body, he looked exactly like he did before. a Small, barely one meter tall bug with horns. Exept a third horn had grown in between the two other taller one.
Zero was at lost in such a scenery. It seemed all like a place that was corrupted by Void, yet life still existed.
That was impossible.
Suddenly, he felt disturbance behind him,
*RUSTLE*
As one of the Void Bushes rustled, a being stepped out.
It was a Bug like being, resembling Zero himself, the being was wrapped in Black clothes, it was small, kind of like how Zero himself was before the Crimson Spire raid. It had a Small, white face and black spots on it, with a singular gray horn.
"Yaa zaaabo, yaaa keeera, yaaaa Seru, ZAahahaboo! Yaaa keeera"
The being seemed to be mumbling to itself in an unknown language, Zero's mind buzzed as strange runes and knowledge entered his mind.
Suddenly, everything became smoother. His "hears" seemed to be cleared of unseen earwax that lingered there for years.
The little bug was singing.
"Baraya, baraya, agabaraya, my heart is a candle so you can burn it here"
'What a weird song. It sounds like a lullaby, tough'
The bug, seeming to notice Zero's presence, walked to him.
"Yo?! who are you? I'm pillgy, a pilgrim. Pilgy is very nice, so worry not, pilgy will not hurt you. Pilgy asks, where are you from? Pilgy is very curious."
The bug—Seemingly called Pilgy— used his ultimate technique he hasn't used since the Heian Era: QUETION BARRAGE.
*Sigh*
Zero sighed, it seemed this nightmare wasn't going to as easy as he thought.
'Again with bug like being. First me, then those things in the distance, and now this. What the hell is up with bugs?!'
"Could you reply? Pilgy doesn't like being ignored, else pilgy's gonna get really angy"
Pilgy furrowed his brows, trying to have an "angry" expression.
Zero forced down a laugh, trying to indulge the little pilgrim.
"I'm a traveller from far away, could you tell me where we are? This is quite the alien scenery, to say the least"
Pilgy gathered his negative 3 braincells together to reply:
"Uh? how could you now know Inannis Sanctum? Its the greatest nation in the world. Its the best place in the world? Who would even want to live Inannis Sanctum? Surely not Pilgy, because Pilgy smart, Pilgy clever, very clever."
Wow, so useful.
"Could you tell me a bit more? What is Inannis Sanctum ?"
Pilgy gave his all to try and and give a coherent reply.
"Ina is the best place in the world. The King is the best, not like the other king from Lux Dominium. Its so good to live here. There's no worr ies, no death, no wars. Its the best place to live. We're not like Luxdom where you have to fight for everything. Here, everything is fine?There is no danger in Inannis Sanctum."
'Weird, did he just hesitate in these last two sentences? Something's definitely off.'
"Can you get us to the nearest City or town ?"
Pilgy jumped with joy at the request.
"Anything for you, sir. Pilgy will not fail this ! Not again, never again ! come with me, I'll bring you to a near city,Innanis Luxium, You'll have lots of fun there! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun? yup. I'm sure."
Zero looked deadpan at the little black pilgrim.
'Yeah, either dementia, split-personality disorder, schizo, brainwashed, or all of the above.'

In a small cave, somewhere in the 2nd Nightmare, a figure was chained.
It could walk on two sturdy legs, and had a broad yet muscular looking torso that was set in a hunched stance and is dark in color. Near the base of the split tail lied various curved and crooked growths with the tail splitting in two, a red stripe flowing down to the tips on the inside of both tails. It had two long arms with hands that have three fingers on each. On its neck were spike-like growths and at the head it had nine gleaming white eyes with no pupils in each of them along with a mouth of sharp teeth. Near the base of its bottom jaw were four long tentacles with uniquely shaped appendages at the end of them with multiple spots similar to the creature's eyes in each of them, the tail having those same appendages at the ends of them.
The creature stirred as a hint of sentience flashed through those terrifying eyes.
'Where am I?'
The creature seemed to develop though.
'Are they okay?'
The creature brushed against its chains.
'Did they escape?'
The creature trashed against them.
'I feel like I slept for a lot of time'
The chains hit screamed under the pressure.
'I want to go home.'
However…
'I WANT TO GO HOME'
They snapped.
The King of Chaos was back.

Somewhere else…
In a plain far, far away from The capital of Ina; was a insanely huge worm chasing the equivalent of an ant. The perhaps soon to be prey was a slender, anthropomorphic spider with a pale, spherical mask which split down in the middle. It had a black, skeletal body that was probably some form of Exoskeleton and two limbs acting as arms.
The little weaver ran with all his might.
'DAMN [FATED] ATTRIBUTE'
Sunny's [Fated] was probably laughing its ass off.
Looking back at the insanely huge beast, Sunny thought:
'That thing's at least a Corrupted! If I don't find a way to divert its attention or escape, I'm synthpaste !'
'AND WHAT THE SPELL IS UP WITH THIS BODY!'
Sunny gave his all, jumping over ravines, dodging trees, avoiding rivers like a reddit mod, and ignoring every nightmare creature in his way.
Yet the damned worm was determined to get his ass.
'I need a solution'
Thinking of something, one of Sunny's six eyes lit up.
When Sunny had entered the Nightmare, he discovered that this body gave him a peculiar ability seemingly Innate to his race.
Control.
He could control Nightmare Creature by controlling some "Threads" that they had.
It took a pretty large amount of soul, but he could continue manipulating more with the Soul Essence of the one he already had. Drawback being that the Soul Essence of those manipulated didn't regenerate.
Looking at the horde of Nightmares chasing him along with the nightmarish worm, he decided to get to work.
Slowly, he pulled the strings from one of the Horse like nightmare, twisted them, and gathered them all to one of his fingers.
Suddenly, the horse lost all trace of sentience in its twelve eyes. It had become Sunny's servant.
'YES. Success'
Sunny got to work as he ran, but his limit for control was ultimately limited by his mental capacity.
In the end, he had a whopping ten nightmare creature under his string.
With a thought, he gave a mental command to all of them.
'ATTACK!'
Sunny had the urge to scream 'I CHOOSE YOU' for unknown reason.
Well, nothing mattered other than escaping.
The nightmare creature all stopped their chase, and bare their teeth at the worm—Who Initially ignored them, until it had to defend itself from ten fallen monster/beasts.
'LET'S GOOO!'
And so, the treacherous shadow got away once again.
How long will this injustice go on for ?
