Chapter 25 - Tournament Preparations – Trouble at the Party: Gelto vs. Luka

Omni Verse

The Warriors gathered in Lamboy's mansion, their minds buzzing with the proposal Akiro had put forward: a grand tournament. The room was thick with tension, each member contemplating the risks and benefits. Pugo's eyes sparkled with excitement, and he spoke first.

"I say we participate!" he exclaimed, practically bouncing on his heels. "This is a chance to grow stronger and prove ourselves!"

Leonardos frowned deeply. "I don't trust the western warriors. Something about this feels off." Mariana nodded in agreement. "I'm with him. A tournament could expose us to unnecessary danger."

Luka, standing tall and calm, countered firmly. "I understand your concerns, but participating will be beneficial. We'll gain experience, hone our skills, and see what we're capable of. We can't ignore this opportunity."

Solom, Pegas, Jamie, Luvo, and Lino voiced their agreement with Luka, feeling the excitement of a challenge. Yet Stardust remained indecisive, torn between loyalty and caution. After a long pause, Stardust finally spoke, determination softening his uncertainty. "You're right, Luka. Joining the tournament will be good for us."

Reluctantly, Leonardos and Mariana accepted the decision, and the group made their way to Lamboy's mansion to officially declare their choice. Together, they voiced their agreement, solidifying the team's plan. A faint smile passed over Akiro's face as he watched the young warriors unite in purpose.

Preparations for the Tournament

Akiro and his team began making meticulous preparations. Tents were pitched, arenas measured, and magical wards set in place to ensure a fair fight. The western side's second group leader, Kizu, made a dramatic entrance. Dressed entirely in black, his plain hair and calm demeanor masked the menace he carried. He clutched a massive, dual-spiked metallic sphere that gleamed ominously, radiating danger.

Kizu approached Akiro confidently, announcing his intention to join with his team. Akiro shook his head, unflinching. "This tournament is meant to test the eastern warriors first," he said firmly. Kizu, undeterred, proposed a compromise. "Then let's make it a duel between both sides," he insisted. Akiro remained resolute. Anger flashed across Kizu's face, and he stormed away, muttering threats under his breath.

Far above, Eldor observed from the cockpit of his spacecraft, eyes glinting with anticipation. A cold smile stretched across his face. "Once this starts, their nightmares will truly begin," he whispered, adjusting controls and monitoring the Warriors' movements with calculated precision. He could feel their energy rippling from afar and anticipated how quickly exhaustion would set in once the tournament began.

Warriors at the Hotel

Back at the hotel, the Warriors settled into their preparations. Mariana worked tirelessly in the garage, Luvo and Lino assisting her with wiring and calibrations for the spacecraft. Sparks flew as metal clanged under careful hands, each adjustment critical for the upcoming challenges. Pegas, Jamie, and Stardust prepared meals, chopping and stirring with precision. The smell of sizzling ingredients and aromatic spices filled the kitchen, a comforting contrast to the tension outside.

Solom, Luka, and Leonardos engaged in rigorous physical training. Punches landed with controlled force, kicks sliced through the air, and weapons clashed with rhythmic precision. Pugo immersed himself in a video game, eyes locked on the screen as his fingers danced across the controller, but every so often he glanced up, imagining the battles to come, adrenaline pumping through him.

Suddenly, a messenger arrived with a sealed envelope. Pugo tore it open, his eyes widening. "We're invited to a party!" he exclaimed. Curiosity and anticipation spread as the team prepared to step into the night, eager for a brief respite before the storm of the tournament.

The Party and Eldor's Trap

The party was a dazzling spectacle. Glittering lights reflected off golden chandeliers, and music pulsed through the grand ballroom. Laughter mingled with the clinking of glasses, and dancers spun gracefully across the polished floor. Pugo tripped over a chair, laughing uncontrollably, while Pegas and Jamie balanced trays of refreshments for the exuberant crowd. Stardust, usually reserved, allowed himself a rare smile, blending into the joyful energy.

Beneath the revelry lay Eldor's hidden machinations. Gelto, Eldor's most powerful soldier, observed from the shadows. His eyes were cold and calculating. His mission: tire the Warriors and strike at the precise moment of weakness. Luvo and Lino remained alert, sensing danger, yet even they could not fully anticipate the attack.

Luka noticed Gelto moving through the crowd. He stepped forward. "Who are you?" he asked.

Gelto's reply was cold. "I serve a great leader." He lunged at Luka without warning, and the floor shook as their clash erupted.

Clash of Titans

The battle erupted in a storm of motion. Luka summoned Earth Technique, vines writhing and lashing toward Gelto. Gelto deflected them with his sword, swinging with deadly precision. Luka drew his green energy blade, sparks flying as it clashed with Gelto's weapon.

The crowd scattered. Pugo's fists clenched, desire to join warring with caution. Luka held firm. "This is one-on-one," he said.

Rocks and energy blasts flew through the air as the room shook with the force of their clash. Luka summoned enormous boulders and hurled them at Gelto, who cut through them effortlessly. But the rubble merged into a cage, temporarily imprisoning him. Luka analyzed every strike, his focus unwavering.

Gelto's swings sent shockwaves across the ballroom, splintering floors and shattering furniture. Sweat dripped down Luka's face, yet he maintained calm precision, countering with controlled bursts of earth and energy. Pugo's determination blazed as he prepared to leap in, eyes locked on the fight.

Luka's vines lashed out, curling around Gelto's legs and arms, but Gelto's sword flashed, slicing them apart mid-air. The room shook with each clash. Energy surged, sparks flew, and the air seemed to crackle with tension.

Eldor's Intervention

Just as Luka prepared a massive green energy beam, Eldor intervened. A dense mist enveloped the battlefield. Gelto vanished into the shadows. Warriors were stunned, their momentum halted. Pugo tried to chase, but Eldor's ship had already accelerated, Gelto safely in tow.

Inside the spacecraft, Eldor's eyes gleamed. Gelto fell to the floor, trembling. "This is only the beginning," Eldor said, striking Gelto with a single powerful blow despite his apologies. "Soon, the Warriors will face their end."

Resolve and Determination

Back at the hotel, the Warriors convened. Solom's expression was grim. "This fight wasn't ordinary. Our enemy is far stronger than we imagined. We must be ready."

Pugo's eyes burned with determination. "Then it's clear! Tomorrow is the tournament. We'll push our limits, train harder than ever, and defeat Gelto—and his leader!"

They joined hands in a circle, their resolve radiating outward. With one unified voice, they shouted:

"Warriors are unbeatable!"

The night sky stretched above them, stars glimmering like silent witnesses to their promise. Tomorrow, the tournament would begin, testing not only their skills but their unity, courage, and unwavering determination. The Warriors knew the path ahead was perilous, yet they were ready.

Somewhere above, Eldor watched silently, his gaze fixed on the horizon. The stage was set, the pieces in motion, and the fate of the Warriors would soon be tested like never before.

"Then Pugo said:"

And Pugo thought to himself:

"Neither Ludos nor that leader and their soldiers can defeat us. I promise you, I will become as perfect as you—a true samurai and a leader—and I will destroy evil."

"Will the Warriors do well in the tournament, or will Eldor's plan succeed?"
