Synopsis
The Last War of the Gods Twenty years ago, the sky split open and the gods returned. Humans began awakening divine powers known as Blessings. Dungeons tore through reality. Nations formed Blessed Associations to regulate the strong. Clans built empires around their chosen heirs. Sovereigns ruled battlefields. Apostles reshaped history. And above them all stood the Demigods beings born with divine blood, untouchable by effort alone. In this world, power is inherited. Yuro Amakusa was born into Japan’s most powerful solar clan, grandson of the world’s strongest Apostle. The sun never answered him. Labeled incomplete, stripped of expectation, and forced to watch others rise on divine favor, Yuro chooses exile over submission. If the gods decide who is worthy, then he will carve strength without their approval. But when death finally corners him inside a dungeon, something ancient responds. Now awakened, Yuro walks a path that does not seek to protect the heavens but to challenge them. Because divine blood does not make someone untouchable. And if gods stand above humanity then someone has to learn how to cut them down.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

The Night the sky changed

The first person to notice something was wrong was a tired technician in Tokyo.

His name was Saito, and he had been staring at the same row of satellite monitors for nearly six hours. Night shifts were usually quiet. Weather satellites drifted silently above the planet, sending down endless streams of predictable data.

Cloud movement.

Wind pressure.

Ocean temperatures.

Nothing exciting ever happened.

Until one of the screens flickered.

Saito frowned and leaned closer.

"...Huh?"

A thin white line stretched across the upper atmosphere on the monitor. At first it looked like a glitch, maybe a transmission error from the satellite.

But the line didn't disappear.

It grew.

Slowly, steadily, the distortion widened across the sky like a crack spreading through glass.

Saito straightened in his chair.

"Hey…Tanaka."

The older technician beside him didn't even look up. "What is it?"

"Do satellites… ever… show atmospheric fractures?"

Tanaka finally turned his head.

"What?"

Saito pointed at the screen.

The room fell silent.

Because the sky above earth was splitting open.

Within minutes, observatories around the world reported the same anomaly.

A strange fracture of light had appeared across the planet's upper atmosphere. At first glance scientists believed it was a solar phenomenon, maybe some unknown radiation burst interacting with Earth's magnetic field.

But the data didn't make sense.

The fracture was spreading.

Across Europe, aircraft pilots reported that their instruments were malfunctioning.

In the northern oceans, lightning storms formed in the completely clear skies.

Over India, winds began swirling in unnatural spirals.

And then something even stranger happened

The sun vanished.

Not gradually.

Not slowly.

One moment the afternoon sky was bright.

The next moment, darkness swallowed the world.

A solar eclipse had begun.

But astronomers quickly realized something terrifying.

The moon was not responsible.

People across the planet stepped outside.

Drivers stopped their cars in the middle of the streets.

Children pointed upward.

Because hanging in front of the sun–

It was something enormous.

The sky had turned black around it, forming a ring of burning gold.

Inside that darkness, shapes moved.

Huge shapes.

Some people thought they saw wings.

Others saw figures standing within the light..

In Japan, thousands of witnesses would later claim they saw a radiant woman standing inside the sun itself.

Her silhouette shone like a crown of fire.

In northern Europe, people swore they saw lightning formed around a single watching eye hidden in the storm clouds.

Across the deserts of Egypt, travelers reported seeing a tall figure walking across the dunes beneath the darkened sky.

No cameras captured the figures clearly.

Every photograph blurred.

Every satellite glitched.

But millions of people saw them with their own eyes

For an hour, the entire world stood beneath the impossible.

No one spoke.

No one understood.

And then the eclipse ended.

The sun returned.

The sky became normal again.

For several hours, humanity tried to convince itself that nothing supernatural had happened.

Scientists called it an unexplained atmospheric phenomenon.

News channels argued endlessly about the possible explanations.

Some people insisted it had been a mass hallucination.

Then the first person awakened.

It happened in a small town in southern Italy.

A young man collapsed in the street as a strange mark appeared on his arm. The symbol glowed his skin like a burning metal

Moments later, flames erupted from his hands.

Real flames.

Not gasoline.

Not chemicals.

Fire that appeared from nothing.

Across the world, the same thing began happening.

Strange symbols appeared on peoples bodies.

Some could summon lightning.

Some control wind.

Others gained strength far beyond what human muscles should allow.

Governments panicked.

Scientists scrambled for answers.

Religious leaders declared miracles.

Within weeks, a new word spread across the planet

Blessed.

Humans chosen by the gods.

But the strange events were not finished.

Months after the revelation, explorers in South Korea discovered something even more disturbing.

A distortion had appeared inside a mountain valley.

It looked like a tear in space itself.

When a team of investigators stepped through it, they found themselves somewhere that should not exist.

A vast underground world.

Ancient ruins.

Creatures no biologist had ever recorded.

Monsters.

Only two members of the team survived the expedition.

When they returned, they brought back something impossible.

A weapon made from unknown metal.

And enough gold to shock the global economy.

Humanity had discovered the first dungeon.

From that moment forward, the world changed faster than anyone could control.

Blessed individuals began entering dungeons to fight monsters.

Some died.

Others returned stronger.

Far stronger.

A new hierarchy began forming among those who carried divine power.

Ranks.

Clans.

Orginizations.

Powerful families connected to ancient gods.

Human civilization had entered a new age.

An age where power could come from the heavens themselves.

And somewhere in japan–

Far away from the chaos spreading across the world–

A powerful clan devoted to the goddess of the sun was preparing for the birth of tis next heir.

They believed the child would shine with divine light.

They believed the future of their lineage would burn brightly.

But fate had already begun writing a very different story.

Because when that child was born…

The room would remain completely dark.
