So Ana and Dexter began their journey, they hadn't gone far when they heard a roar.
Ana then turned to face Dexter, "Oh I forgot to mention, overcoming your fears increases your willpower."
Then out of the shadows a black bear like creature roared and raced towards them.
Dexter stared at the bear running towards him before he realized something, he didn't know how to fight with will power.
He then turned to face Ana, Ana seemed to understand what he wanted and said,
"If you want to fight back use your willpower, just imagine a weapon and it would come in front of you."
Dexter nodded and closed his eyes shut, he thought hard of the weapon he wanted and then opened his eyes.
When he saw the weapons in his hands he nearly fainted.
He thought of his nanotech suit and then what he saw in his hands was just a sword and a shield.
He turned to Ana again for an explanation.
"What you get also depends on your willpower level, but don't worry the level of that bear has to just be in the beginner level."
Dexter just grunted and held his sword in a fighting stance.
The bear seeing his stance was instantly enraged and charged towards him.
Dexter tried to see if he could use any of the skills he had but unfortunately he couldn't.
He saw the bear about to pounce on him and immediately reacted.
He dodged the first strike from the bear and used his sword to stop the claw that was struck at him.
He kept on using his sword the deflect all the strikes at him.
At the moment he was just in a defensive state and if things continued like this he would be defeated.
"Was that Ana lying?" Dexter wondered but barely had time to think before another claw was struck at him, this time he could not properly defend this one and got his cheek grazed.
If not for his quick reflexes he would have been dead.
Then he heard Ana shout,
"Use your willpower!!"
He heard that and immediately closes his eyes.
The bear saw that the person wasn't fighting back and immediately launched a deadly attack, if Dexter did not defend that then he was going to die.
Dexter then opened his eyes and the color of his pupils changed.
First they were black but now they were blue, the color of your willpower is also in coordination with his character.
He is a calm and chill guy but can be very lethal when pushed to it's limit, so his willpower was blue like the ocean.
After his eyes turned blue his body suddenly burst with an oppressive aura, then suddenly he dodged the attack from the bear like it was nothing.
The bear noticing that things were not right immediately turned to flee but Dexter wasn't going to let it go that easily.
He gave chase and with the buff of his willpower he was able to catch up with it in a flash.
The bear sensing the danger immediately attacked, but Dexter was as fluid as water and seemed to be able to dodge every single attack that the bear did.
Then Dexter found a clear opening to the bear's neck in the fight, he wasted no time and immediately attacked.

There was a flash of blue light then stillness and suddenly the bear's head fell from its neck.
Dexter using he mind was able to return the weapons.
"Nice work." Ana seemed to have suddenly walked up behind him and that gave him a little start.
"Geez, your scared me and by the way were is that increase in my willpower you were talking about?" Dexter asked with a questioning gaze.
After he finished speaking the interface popped up.

"Only one?" Dexter was kind of disappointed, he nearly died in his attempt to kill that bear and he only got one extra will power.
"Why am I getting only one?" Dexter asked.
"You just killed a fear creature at the beginner level and you expect more?" Ana retorted.
When Dexter realized how stupid what he said was he could only blush in embarrassment.
They continued on their journey and met a few beginner level fear creatures along the way.
Now Dexter's willpower count had reached twenty, which would tell you a lot about how many creatures he had killed.
At the moment Dexter required a hundred willpower points to reach the professional level.
Just then both Ana and Dexter heard a rustling noise.
"Shush..did you hear that?" Ana asked.
Dexter nodded and looked into the distance.
The rustling noise came again but this time it was even closer.
It kept on getting closer and closer to them until something came out from the darkness and Ana and Dexter were stunned.
It was a half woman and half snake beast.
"Oh, I remember this, this is when I had a fear of women." Dexter said with a little laugh.
Before he could even make a move the woman's eyes turned purple and she seemed to put Dexter under a spell.
A knife them manifested in his hands as he raised it towards his neck.
