Caden Lockwood stared intently at Lily Thorne, observing that her expression seemed normal. He wasn't sure whether Evelyn's brother's issue was related to Lily or James Lockwood.
But as of now, he couldn't find out more and could only keep this matter in his heart temporarily.
Caden lowered his gaze and said solemnly, "Whether it's you or Dad, do not target Evelyn or do anything to her brother. Once I find out, I certainly won't stand idly by!"
"Caden," Lily laughed lightly, "it seems like you've already become a part of the Morgan Family. Are you planning to shoulder all their problems and turn us into your hypothetical enemies?"
Before Caden could reply, Lily continued, "You've truly disappointed Mom! After raising a son for so many years, he's now accusing me over a woman!"
As soon as she finished speaking, Lily turned and left, not even in the mood to have a meal.
Caden stood in place, watching Lily's departing figure, his mood quite troubled.
