Chapter 270 - Chapter 270: Teaching Blake a Lesson

"Where did you hide it?" A furious roar followed an urgent rustling sound.

Sirius Black was enraged.

Allen quickly dodged to the side and escaped Black's leaping body.

But the stubborn Sirius, his mind clouded by the fire of revenge, did not give up.

Although he no longer had his magic wand, he was like an agile leopard; he quickly turned and tried to catch Allen, desperate to find out where Scabbers was.

Allen quickly kicked Black, sending him flying.

"Calm down and listen to me!" Allen shouted.

"Tell me, I don't want to wait any longer," Black roared, lunging forward again.

Allen shook his head helplessly, inwardly laughing at his own folly; he imagined an enraged man, consumed by vengeful thoughts for years in Azkaban, calming down upon seeing his enemy.

Allen skillfully leaped away from Black and quickly aimed his wand at him: "Levicorpus!"

Black suddenly hung upside down in the air, his shirt falling over his head, revealing his pale, skeletal chest and abdomen.

Despite being in such a wretched state, Sirius Black would never beg for mercy.

Waving her hands, she pulled her clothes off and angrily shouted, "Let me down, let me down now!"

Allen spread his hands and frowned slightly, "You'll get what you want."

"Tell me, where did you hide him? I'll kill him!"

Sirius Black seemed not to have heard Allen's words; his sunken, gloomy eyes gleamed angrily as he glared at Allen.

Allen's gentle smile vanished; he glared disdainfully at the struggling Black.

"Mr. Black," Allen said in a deep voice, "please use even a little bit of your common sense and think about our previous agreement! Would I have allowed Peter Pettigrew to slip away from us?"

"Do you know that his name is Peter Pettigrew?" The mention of that name seemed to enrage Black; his face turned ashen, and his facial muscles twitched.

Behind the nearby Slapping Willow tree, in the bushes, Ron stood with his mouth agape, fear gripping his throat.

What had he seen? Allen had actually neutralized the killer, Sirius Black!

And his Scabbers!

What did the Scabbers team have to do with Peter Pettigrew?

Malfoy also saw the scene, but wisely said nothing.

Professor Snape also saw what was happening from a distance; his face was extremely grim, and he watched Sirius and Allen dangerously.

"You two hide," he said suddenly.

Ron almost jumped in fright, but Professor Snape held him firmly in place.

Ron covered his mouth in horror, shocked and frozen in place.

Malfoy nodded wisely, not contradicting the professor.

However, seeing the direction Professor Snape pointed, he still turned his head towards the head of the household in disbelief.

That was the Willow Tree!

Professor Snape's eyes were fixed dangerously on both of them, and for the first time, Ron and Malfoy felt a shared pain.

They exchanged disgusted glances, then simultaneously turned their heads away.

Then, composing themselves, they slowly shuffled their feet and walked toward the Striker Willow tree.

But the impatient Professor Snape grabbed them both with his hands and threw them straight to the base of the Whopping Willow tree.

Ron and Malfoy wanted to scream but couldn't; Professor Snape had cast a temporary Silencing Charm on them!

Ron and Malfoy had intense fear in their eyes; the whip-like branches of the Willow Striker were lashing at them furiously.

Just when they were both filled with despair, the raging branches suddenly calmed down.

They both fell to the ground, their limbs and bodies scraping against the surface.

Their wounds were burning; they looked like they'd come into contact with rainwater on the ground, and perhaps broken leaves were lodged in them.

Before they could think any further, they both fell into a deep pit.

"The Floating Willow looks particularly wild today!" Professor Snape threw a few bottles of wound medicine into the pit, then allowed the Floating Willow to continue thrashing about.

"But this is better, otherwise they'll go back and tell Dumbledore. Sirius, your time has come!"

Snape, like a bat gliding through the darkness of night, silently approached Allen and Black.

Meanwhile, the conversation between Allen and Sirius Black continued.

"Of course, my Aunt Josephine, Josephine Harris. A clever Ravenclaw student, a good friend of Lily Evans'. She knew all about your supposedly clever jokes, your smug little tricks, including your Animagus transformation, and she told me about them."

Throughout the holiday, Aunt Josephine showed Allen photographs from his youth and told him many stories from that time.

Of course, he knew nothing about Sirius and their Animagus forms, but that didn't stop Allen from attributing all of this to him.

Allen glared at Black, who, despite hanging upside down, had eyes like a ferocious wolf ready to tear someone apart.

Allen abandoned the idea of lifting the spell and continued, "When I saw Ron's pet, Scabbers, I wondered how an ordinary mouse could live so long. Why did that fat, elegant mouse in Egypt lose weight so quickly after hearing about you?"

"I started paying attention to Scabbers after visiting Aunt Josephine during the winter holidays, until he faked his death and ran away today. And seeing your reaction, I think I understand everything now," Allen said softly.

"Since you know I'm innocent, why won't you give her to me?" Black snapped.

"Are you innocent?" Allen found this very ironic; in his opinion, even though Sirius Potter hadn't betrayed his family, the entire tragedy stemmed from his recklessness.

"Actually, Professor Snape was right; you were all arrogant, conceited, proud, and impulsive people..."

Allen's words were interrupted by an impatient Sirius.

"Did Aunt Josephine tell you that too? She liked Snape, of course she would!" Sirius scoffed.

Allen was clearly aware of the contemptuous expression on the man's face.

Even though he didn't know if what was said was true, the disrespect shown to his family had deeply hurt Allen.

Allen also adopted a sarcastic tone and immediately began listing them.

"If you hadn't temporarily replaced the Potter family's Secret Keeper, would Peter Pettigrew have had the chance to betray them? If you had been the Secret Keeper, James and Lily Potter wouldn't have died."
