Aspects are dangerous. Extremely dangerous. Aspects are divided into multiple grade with E being the lowest and SSS being the highest.
Some Aspects gave people the power to float, twist their body parts or even slightly strengthen their physical strength.
Some Aspects can cause the destruction of an entire country without their user even trying to.
These individuals are so feared, countless people want them dead. However let's put them aside for now.
Aspects are unique for each individuals. Individuals may be born with a stronger version of their parents Aspect while in rare cases being born with two Aspects inherited from their parents. In an even rarer casey, one is born with the fusion of their parents Aspect.
Of course, no matter how powerful an Aspect is, what important is how the Aspect is used.
The battle between the Ascengers and the villainess Bubblia had caused quite the property damage.
Ascengers are not exactly the strongest. Although they are ranked twelfth at the Cybercity hero group ranking, that is only because of their publicity and good marketing. The strongest of them is Captain Valor, possessing an SS rank Aspect that give him the power to generate an extremely tough and resilient shield infinitely.
Following him is Slingshot with an Aspect that give him the ability to infinitely create marbles,, each with their own unique effects.
The other two members of the group, although only possessing an Aspect above A rank, they still stood out amongst the other heroes of Cybercity.
However, a powerful Aspect is still a powerful Aspect. Even if the heroes knows how to properly control, given the true prowess of their Aspects, destruction will still follow.
Just the fight between these five and multiple buildings are already badly damaged.
A piece of rubble fell towards the ground.
A girl screams in horror.
A flash of white.
The girl opened his eyes, only to see a pair of crimson coloured eyes staring at her.
"Are you alright?" Karen asked calmly.
The girl wide eyed, stared at Karen then to his back.
Multiple spikes had already stretched out of his back, stopping the rubble from fully hitting her.
Karen's furrowed his eyebrows. He can feel the spikes distorting, their molecular structure weakening. A feeling that he is near his limits.
The spikes stretched, curling and distorting to form spider like legs.
The rubble was instantly thrown away.
"Wha...."
The spider like tendrils on his back shifted, melting and wrapping around her body. A protective layer against the incoming inertia.
"I'll take that as a yes."
The girl wasn't able to react when she was lifted bridal style by Karen.
Swoosh!
Her surroundings start to change. Everything moving in a blur. To be more precise, it was just Karen moving at an extremely high speed.
Luckily, he had already used his Aspect to form a layer of protective barrier or else the girl would had already been crushed by the mere friction against the air.
Karen placed the girl down before vanishing.
Sensing his tendrils glitching, he forcefully pulls them back into his body.
Throughout the fight between the heroes and the villainess, multiple buildings had already been destroyed. Some civilians are caught in the cross fire.
Bulking's fist punched through the air. The mere force of his punch traveling through the street.
In the distant, a man trapped in rubble widened their eyes in horror
A figure of white descended right before him. Their entire arm transforms into a shield.
Karen raised his transformed shield, blocking the force from the hero's fist.
He was pushed a few inches away, his shield distorting for a few seconds. However Karen continues on, forcefully putting his Aspect on full strength.
"Hold still." Karen ordered as his other arm melted before wrapping around the man.
Before the man could process what is happening, his body was thrown to the ground.
Heroes are extremely popular. Even more so for the Ascengers who are ranked twelfth.
Just to watch their fight against the villainess, many of their fans had gathered around. A huge crowd is currently watching in the distance.
What they failed to notice however, is the flashes of white going from one place to another.
Karen landed on the ground, placing an injured elderly man to the stretcher.
The two paramedics who was just trying to pull the the stretcher out, stood in shock.
"Get the old man to safety." Was all that Karen said as his figure flashes out of existence.
This won't do.
Karen stretched out his arm, laying the boy on it, the boy's head is placed on his shoulder. His arm melted, forming into a bed as he slowly pulls the boy out of car.
"Thank you! Thank you!" A woman, the mother of the boy sobbed as she bowed.
Karen ignored the woman's sobbing. His mind focusing on positioning the boy on a recovery position.
"Over here!" Karen shout out to the approaching paramedics.
If this goes on, more buildings will be damaged.
Karen landed on the top of a building. His gaze staring off into the distance between the fight of the Ascengers and Bubblia.
That's it.
Karen's figure vanish.
In the distance, a hero in golden armour stumbled across the ground. Various injuries on his body.
The hero is none other than Slingshot.
After their fight Karen had knocked him down, not even bothering to send him to the police. As he woke up, the fight between the Ascengers are still going on and Karen had been saving the civilians.
"To think you would woke up so soon." A cold voice spoke.
Slingshot wasn't able to react when his surroundings suddenly changed. His body was smashed against a wall of a building a few kilometres away.
"How many more marbles can you generate?"
A marble appears in between the hero's fingers.
Karen's hand shot forth, grabbing the hand and smashing it against the concrete wall.
A small explosion erupted from the marble, causing Slingshot to groan in pain.
The smoke dissipate, revealing both of their hands bloodied from the explosion.
"You're insane!!" Slingshot exclaimed, feeling the extreme pain.
Karen's gaze turns cold. The wound on his hand healing at a slow rate.
Despite this, he remains indifferent to his injuries.
Back to the present, the heroes looks down on the countless marbles rolling down the ground.
"Aren't these Slingshot's marble?" Bulking's deep and hoarse voice resounded.
The marbles suddenly glowed.
Boom!
Explosions after explosions enveloped the four of them.
"Cough cough cough! Valor! Bulking! Are you alright?!" Falconslinger shout out.
Falconslinger's animal instinct suddenly flared.
In the next second from the dark smoke, a pair of dark orbs suddenly glowed right before him.
Boom!
Karen's palm landed right on his chest.
Something suddenly slithered over his arm, pulling him closer.
Karen's entire arm had transformed into a tendril, wrapping around the falcon's entire arm and pulling him closer.
What greeted the hero is a punch to the face followed by an elbow to the neck and finished with a kick to his abdomen that sent him flying.
The smokes from the explosion had covered Captain Valor's vision. It is impossible for him to see through.
Suddenly, something went flying towards him. It was a body.
The unconscious body of Falconslinger.
"Slinger?" Captain Valor was shocked when he catches the unconscious body of his teammate.
Swoosh!
Karen jumped out of the smoke.
Captain Valor wasn't able to react when Karen's kick landed on his helmet, creation a huge cracks.
Karen landed on the ground before delivering another kick. A spinning kick.
The hero is still holding his teammate. Not to mention he was just hit square in the head.
He wasn't able to dodge nor block the incoming kick.
The kick landed right on his chest. On the spot that had already cracked from his fight against Bubblia.
Captain Valor skidded backwards.
Captain Valor looks up, still holding his unconscious comrade.
A fourteen year old boy.
"What the? A kid?"
Karen ignored the latter's question. He takes a deep breath, feeling his body weakening by the seconds.
His body, is already at it's limits.
Fighting against Slingshot, saving the civilians and then going out to knock Falconslinger out. It was already too much.
The smoke is already starting to dissipate.
"I'll make this quick.."
Karen's figure blurred, appearing right before the hero.
"No aspect."
His kick landed on the body of Captain Valor.
"Just pure skills and brute force."
Captain Valor was sent flying.
In the distance, Bubblia was coughing from all the smoke.
Bam!
The bodies of Captain Valor and Falconslinger crashed against the woman.
"Just one more-"
A fist came hurling out of the smoke.
The punch landed on Karen's cheek and he was sent flying to a nearby building.
The smoke dissipate and a hulking tanned figure of a man walks out.
"What the hell did the kid eat growing? His flesh feels like punching an iron." Bulking grumbled, feeling his arm stinging just from landing a hit on Karen.
"Damn, that hurts." A voice suddenly spoke.
Both heroes widened their eyes, seeing a figure casually walking out of the rubbles the moment the smoke dissipate.
"How is he still even alive after that punch?" Bulkiy can't helped but be terrified.
One has to know, his Aspect is extremely powerful. Just a single punch can already destroy an entire buit.
Yet Karen had easily tanked a punch from him.
Just what exactly is his Aspect?
Just how can a boy who looks no older than fourteen year old be so strong?
"He's already at his limits." Captain Valor suddenly said, cutting Bulking off his thoughts.
Indeed, if one observe Karen closely, they immediately notice that he is already at his limits.
His breathing is ragged, his healing is slow and numerous wounds littered his body.
"Against the heroes of Cybercity, is this my limit?" Karen exhaled a long sigh.
Suddenly, hooded figure landed on the ground. A metal pole that the figure is holding struck the ground, burying itself to the ground.
Makoto twisted his body, swiftly landing on the ground.
The redhead swung his arm. A powerful blast of air blasted out from his palm.
The heroes weren't able to dodge when a powerful blast of air struck them.
