The white haired man who had been explaining the world building suddenly stops mid sentence.
He sighed , turning to the crying baby sitting on the cradle -gold cradle - and frowned

An explosion is suddenly heard in the distance.
In the distance, somewhere in Undercity, multiple buildings had already been destroyed from the villain attack.
A few districts away from where the Ascengers are fighting the villainess Bubblia, the fight between Karen and Slingshot continue.
Multiple shockwave grenades fell to the ground before exploding.
Shockwave grenade like it's name suggests, it is a form of a grenade that instead of releasing an explosion upon detonation, release a powerful shockwave. Of course, the shockwave is not enough to kill a person. The Evolved Genes had evolved the human body to be extremely resilient to any form of damage.
However that does not mean that anyone can constantly tank a literal explosion of shockwave to the face continuously.
Karen's arm phased through into his own chest through his unbuttoned shirt. He pulls out another shockwave grenade and throws it at the hero.
Slingshot shot a marble through the air.
In a split second before the marble could explode, the grenade exploded into a powerful shockwave. Followed by the shockwave, the marble exploded into a fiery explosion, the sheer force of the shockwave from the grenade sending the marble back to Slingshot before exploding.
The explosion enveloped the hero's figure.
Bam!
Slingshot felt an excruciating pain on his abdomen.
Karen's fist had landed on Slingshot 's abdomen. The mere impact from his punch strong enough to create a small shockwave that sent the pieces of rubbles in the distance flying.
Slingshot coughed out a mouthful of blood like a cultivator from a shitty cultivation novel.
Slingshot's head was cocked to the back the moment Karen's other hand shot up and landing on his nose.
The hero felt a powerful pull.
Karen had grabbed his arm, pulling his body closer.
Bam!
A palm strike landed on Slingshot 's chest.
The sounds of cracking can be heard as cracks had already formed on Slingshot's armour upon impact.
Karen grabbed the hero's arm before flipping him across the air.
Web-like cracks appeared on the ground the moment Slingshot's body hit the pavement.
Slingshot wheezed, coughing and gasping for air.
No matter how resilient the human body is, it still has it's limits.
However in the next second Slingshot laughed out loud.
"Hey kid, let's talk this one out okay?" Slingshot suddenly said, trying to calm Karen down.
The white haired boy merely tightens his grip on Slingshot's arm.
Slingshot panicked.
"Wait! Wait! Wait! Calm down! Let's talk!"
Karen looks down on him.
"Look kid, I see that you have talent. You are talented, why not use your talent for good?"
"Imagine it, being a sidekick to the Ascengers. Our group are ranked twelfth in Hero Group Charts and we made thousands for every villain attacks not to mention the sponsorships from those big companies."
There is a stiffed smile on the hero's face.
Karen looks down, his blank expression revealing not even a hint of emotions.
"What a shame. The Samarans really admired you heroes. To think that this is what heroism actually are."
Slingshot wasn't able to react when Karen's fist landed on his face.
A few blocks away, the battle between the other members of the Ascengers and Bubblia raged on.
A hero in a pristine white armour with a pair of white shields on each arms reminiscent to a night of the ancient times, Captain Valor lounged into the air.
Bubblia seeing this, panicked. She waved her arm, generating countless bubbles to form a shield.
The bubbles are extremely resilient despite being so small, they are capable of completely absorbing the force from the hero's attack.
Seeing his attack being nullified, Captain Valor raised both of his arms, smashing the two shields on his arms together.
The shockwave dispersed the bubbles.
Captain Valor landed on the ground, swinging his arm. The shield attached to his arm spins.
Bubblia swings the staff in her hand.
The staff and shield collided, creating a sparks as they clashed.
"Bulking! Now!" Captain Valor suddenly shouted.
The ground tremble.
The ground behind Bubblia crumble and a hulking figure shot out. A tall shirtless bald man standing over 3 meters tall
Bulking let out a roar as his fist descent upon the villainess.
The shields on Captain Valor's arm spin at a high speed before he send out a punch.
Bubblia swept her arm, forming a huge bubble dorm around her
The shield of Captain Valor and Bulking's fist landed on the bubble dorm. The bubble dorm is extremely resilient despite what it looks like. The moment their strike landed, a wave like effect spread across the surface of the bubble dorm.
Suddenly, the bubble dorm exploded, releasing a huge energy that it had absorbed from the strikes of the two heroes.
Both Captain Valor and Bulking was thrown back by the sheer force of the energy released.
The screech of a falcon is heard.
Bubblia looked up, eyes widening.
High in the air, a falcon man figure can be seen flying in a circle.
Falconslinger folded his wings, causing his body to descend downwards at a high speed.
Boom!
"The hero group Ascengers are currently fighting the villainess Bubblia."
"Bubblia, a notorious villain with the aspect to generate and control bubbles with various properties, has been comitting various crimes in the recent years."
"As of just now, she had been reported of robbing a nearby bank."
As of right now, the news broadcast is broadcasting everything related to this fight.
The Ascengers is ranked twelfth in the hero group ranking. Their members consisting of heroes in the top thirties of heroes in Cybercity.
It can be said that almost all that they do will become a sensation on the internet.
And a fight between the top ranking heroes are something that many want to see.

The teamwork of the Ascengers are coordinated. A clear sign of their good teamwork.

"You heroes are always getting in my way!" Bubblia swung the pink staff in her hand angrily.
"And you villains are always causing trouble!"
Captain Valor raised his arms, blocking the staff strike with a shield and using his other shield to attack her.
Bubblia's body moves fluidly, barely dodging the shield attack. The staff in her hand was thrusted forward, easily piercing passed the weak points of Captain Valor's shield.
Her shield landed right on his chest, creating a crack.
Captain Valor was forced to take a step back.
Bubblia thrusted her staff once again, landing on the same spot. Then she form a small bubble on her palm before smashing it against the crack on Captain Valor's shield.
A huge explosion followed soon after.
Bubblia jumped out of the smoke, only to hear the cries of a falcon.
Falconslinger flew out of the dark smoke, five sharp claws aiming for her neck.
Bubblia twisted her body, barely dodging the incoming claw.
A bubble appear on her palm, enlarging.
Instantly the bubble envelopes the Falcon hero, trapping him inside.
The falcon hero let out a screech as his massive and powerful wings unfolded, breaking through the bubble trap.
Falconslinger's hand reached out, grabbing the villainess by the neck in an instant. His movements are extremely fast, making it impossible for the villainess to dodge.
Grabbing the woman by the neck, his wings sprang into action.
With the villainess in hand, Falconslinger flew into the air.
Bubblia struggled, generating a huge bubble in am attempt to trap the flying hero only for the hero to easily crush her bubbles.
Suddenly, Bubblia opened her mouth. In the next second, hundreds of bubbles floats out of her mouth, engulfing the hero
The bubbles suddenly glows in silver before exploding.
A huge explosion resounded throughout the city
Two figures fell, hurling towards the ground.
Falconslinger crashed against the ground while Bubblia generated countless bubbles to slowed down her descent.
However, the moment she landed on the ground, countless golden marbles suddenly rolled across the ground.
Captain Valor who was running to his injured comrade stopped on his tracks.
These marbles...
"Aren't these Slingshot's marble?" Bulking's deep and hoarse voice resounded.
The marbles suddenly glowed.
