Khaen was the first to roar.
"For Humanity and the Emperor!"
Gell also declared his loyalty.
Angron watched his scions, and he reached out and placed his hand on Gell's head, feeling Gell's worry for him.
"No need to worry, I will bring you victory."
"No need to worry, my children! I will fight alongside you!"
Angron absorbed the countless painful memories of these scions, and the suffering he endured was quickly devoured by the Butcher's Nails in his head.
"I am with you."
Angron smiled.
Thus, the Twelfth Legion Primarch and his scions forged a bond.
This was also what the World Eaters had always desired in another timeline.
In the Ghoul Stars, countless dying stars with their cold, chilling light encircled countless worlds.
Even the Astronomican struggled to illuminate this region, yet the Night Lords were still infamous throughout these stars, though more for the fear, the endless fear, they inspired.
The first stop of the Great Crusade was Nostramo, this dark and wicked planet, the very planet that shaped Konrad Curze, Angron's brother.
When the Thirteenth Fleet warped out from the Mandeville Point, the Night Lords immediately sent a communication.
"My brother… we have arrived at my world."
There was a hint of pride in Konrad Curze's tone, a perfect world, a world even the Emperor had praised.
"A world that relies on fear and death as its means, Angron, you really should go down and see it."
System AI said, while attempting to insert his data synapses into the Night Lords' ship. Having had experience with the Emperor's Dream, System AI was extremely cautious this time. He probed the documents locked deep within the Night Lords' databases, finding them rife with evil. System AI felt as if he were probing living beings.
"Your brother is far crazier than I imagined."
Even though System AI knew of the Night Lords' madness, he was still shocked by the Night Lords' numerous files. For Curze, who had returned more than a decade before Angron, System AI didn't know if Konrad Curze had succumbed to his illusions, but for now, he still didn't know what was happening on his planet.
"My brother, if possible, I would like to visit Nostramo."
Angron smiled, even though the smile was quite strained.
Under the escort of the Redeemer Guard, Gell and his men donned their Terminators power armor, guarding Angron tightly. In their eyes, this trip was bound to encounter unforeseen events.
It wasn't that they cursed Angron, but rather their distrust of the erratic Night Lords.
As the blue and white stormbird descended from the ship's bridge towards the world below, Angron sat in his chair, lost in thought.
"Tell the pilot to slow down, I'm currently breaching the planet's systems."
Upon hearing System AI's words, Angron nearly jumped out of his skin.
"Slow down!"
"Do you know what you're doing? If Konrad Curze finds out, I don't want to fight him on his own turf!"
Angron spoke softly, but the War Hounds still heard his words about wanting to fight Konrad Curze!
"Get the War Hounds ready!"
As Khaen gave the order, Gell punched him in the chest plate.
"Khaen!"
Gell glared at Khaen fiercely.
"Relay my order, get the War Hounds ready. Khaen, you cannot bear such a heavy responsibility!"
Gell didn't know what Angron was doing, but a battle seemed unavoidable… On the ground, Konrad Curze and his scions had been waiting for Angron on the landing pad for a long time. They felt a hint of resentment towards the stormbird continuously circling in the sky. Sevatar and the others saw this as an insult to their Primarch.
"my father!"
