Chapter 13 - normal day

The idols emerged from the company's sleek building, the evening air filled with laughter and exhaustion. Han, Jace, Kai, and Adriel strolled towards the parking lot, their shoes scuffling on the pavement.

As they reached the bikes, Han piped up, "Hey, guys? Wanna grab a bite, maybe catch a flick?"

Jace's grin was apologetic. "Sorry, Han. Ace and I are hitting up that new rooftop bar 😊."

Han's face fell. "A date, huh?"

Kai shook his head, eyes sparkling. "Caleb's taking me bike riding. Maybe next time, Han?"

Adriel shrugged, backing away. "I've got plans with Alpha Boys' Adriel. Sorry, dude."

Han's shoulders drooped as he watched them make their excuses. He forced a smile, waving them off. "Go. Have fun."

As they vanished into the night, Han's smile faded. He sighed, feeling the weight of loneliness settle in.

He glanced around, making sure no one was watching. Satisfied, he slipped into the shadows, his eyes flashing with vampire speed. In an instant, he vanished, leaving the human world behind.

*A Mysterious Rejection*

Han stormed the vampire castle, his determination burning like a wildfire. He sprinted towards the entrance, but two vampires materialized, their eyes cold as ice.

"Halt, Han," they warned.

Han's gaze narrowed, his fangs extending in frustration. "Get out of my way," he growled.

The vampires didn't budge. One slipped inside, whispering to the shadows.

The vampire turned, expression unreadable. "Alexander's orders. You can't enter."

Han's face twisted in fury. He knew they were lying – Alexander would never keep him outside. With a snirk, Han blurred, using his vampire speed to dash past the guards. He sprinted towards the castle doors, his determination unbroken.

From the window, a figure watched Han's reckless charge. Taejoon, hidden in the shadows, knew he had to act. He couldn't let Han get hurt.

With a low growl, Taejoon unleashed his power. A dark shockwave blasted Han, sending him flying through the air. He landed hard on the stone courtyard, his body crashing against the unforgiving ground.

Han scrambled to his feet, his eyes blazing with rage as he fixed his gaze on the vampires who'd dared to attack him. His vision narrowed, focusing on the guards who'd blocked his path.

"You... you did this," Han growled, his voice barely recognizable. His eyes turned a deep, burning red as his anger surged.

The vampires caved, terror etched on their faces. They began to plead, "Han, please! It wasn't us–"

But Han wasn't listening. A dark energy emanated from him, and the vampires started to turn to ash, their screams echoing through the night.

More vampires rushed to the scene, their eyes wide with fear. Elder vampires, sensing the chaos, intervened, their voices calm and soothing.

"Han, stop! It's not them, Han!"

The elders surrounded him, their presence slowly dousing the flames of Han's fury. He struggled against their calming influence, his chest heaving with rage.

As the ash settled, Han's eyes slowly returned to normal. He stared at the remnants of the guards, his expression twisted in confusion and horror.

"What... what happened?" Han whispered, his voice shaking.

The elders exchanged uneasy glances, their eyes filled with a mix of fear and concern. One stepped forward, his voice gentle, "Han, you need to calm down. We'll explain everything."

Han nods and wait for an explanation

The elder vampire's words flowed smoothly, "Han, Alexander has gone on a journey. The castle is currently under electric shock maintenance, that's why the guards were stopping you."

Han's expression shifted from anger to confusion, then understanding. He nodded, a sheepish look on his face. "Ah, sorry about that. I didn't know."

The elders exchanged a knowing glance, their faces neutral. "No harm done, Han. We'll make sure you're informed next time."

As Han turned to leave, a shiver ran down his spine. He felt it – a pair of eyes, watching him from the shadows. He turned, scanning the castle walls, but saw nothing.

The elders' smiles remained polite, oblivious to Han's sudden unease. "Shall we escort you out, Han?"

Han hesitated, his instincts screaming that something was off. But he couldn't pinpoint what. He nodded, following the elders as they led him away from the castle.

The darkness seemed to swallow him whole, and Han couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched, that Taejoon was hiding just out of sight 👀.

Taejoon's eyes narrowed, his gaze fixed on Han's retreating form. A wave of self-loathing washed over him, and he turned away, his anger boiling over.

He gazed down at his arm, the glass cup still clenched in his fist. Without thinking, he squeezed, and the cup shattered, shards digging deep into his palm.

Taejoon's eyes flashed, his fangs extending as he bared his teeth. He welcomed the pain, letting his blood flow, a crimson stain spreading across the floor.

"Idiot," he growled, his voice barely audible. "Why couldn't you just stay away?" He mutters to himself feeling angry that he keeps hurting han
