CHAPTER FORTY -Three – Reunion with Zahid.
Thinking about it now, Angel wanted the earth to open up and swallow her whole, she couldn't believe she was seen kissing Zahid in the present of so many people, her face beet red from embarrassment.
"Uhm. Hi." he said not daring to look further at her surroundings, her hands tightly clenched on Zahid's shirt, She wondered how he found her, where was Nadir and Leah, and every other people in the house, what had happened while she was asleep.
"Are you okay, hope he didn't hurt you." Zahid asked, his eyes and hands checking her from top to bottom, looking for any hidden marks or scars.
"I'm fine, I'm okay. Surprisingly he was gentle with me." She said reassuringly
Exhales
"As long as you're good." he said still clutching her tightly to himself, wishing to fold her into his body, that way she wouldn't be taken from him, nor suffer any disadvantage outside his peripheral vision.
