Beerus merely yawned lazily.
"Oh? So you've all brought out your trump cards?" Beerus said with mild interest.
"Looks pretty convincing."
He casually extended a finger and beckoned at the three of them.
"Come on. Let me see what you've got."
"Let's go!" Vegeta moved first!
"Final Flash!"
There was no testing at all—he went straight for his ultimate move!
Vegeta clasped his hands in front of his chest, drawing out the full power of Super Saiyan Blue without reservation.
A thick, dazzling azure beam roared forward, tearing through space as it blasted toward Beerus!
"Kamehameha!"
Almost simultaneously, Goku followed up, his Kamehameha surging alongside Vegeta's Final Flash!
At the same time, Gohan transformed into a crimson streak of light, darting in from the side and closing the distance instantly, preparing a close-range ambush!
Long-range suppression. Close-quarters assault.
The three worked together flawlessly, nearly sealing off all of Beerus's escape routes!
Facing this perfectly coordinated assault—
Beerus curled his lips in disdain.
He raised his left hand and flicked it lightly.
Boom!!!
Vegeta's Final Flash and Goku's Kamehameha were deflected in midair by an invisible force, shooting off in opposite directions!
"What?!"
"How is that possible?! He deflected our attacks without even touching them!"
Goku and Vegeta shouted at the same time.
Meanwhile, Gohan was already within striking range.
Gathering every ounce of his strength, Gohan threw a fierce punch at Beerus!
Beerus leaned back slightly.
Gohan's fist grazed past the tip of Beerus's nose.
Gohan roared and unleashed a rapid flurry of punches!
"Too slow."
Beerus swayed casually, dodging every strike with ease.
Then—Gohan's vision blurred.
Beerus suddenly raised both hands and caught Gohan's fists.
With a casual flick of his wrists—
A terrifying, irresistible force surged through Gohan's body.
"Ugh!"
Gohan cried out as he was hurled away like a broken doll!
In a single exchange—
The trio's combined assault was completely dismantled.
Gohan was sent flying, nearly losing his ability to fight.
"Gohan!" Goku shouted anxiously.
"Damn it!" Vegeta clenched his teeth, shock coursing through him.
So this is… a God of Destruction?
The three of them had fought with everything they had, yet Beerus wasn't even serious—casually toying with them using nothing but gestures.
The gap was absurdly large!
Then how had Loren managed to fight Beerus back and forth back then?!
Beerus turned his gaze toward Goku and Vegeta, a smile like a cat playing with mice spreading across his face.
"Well then, I suppose it's your turn now."
The moment his words fell—
Beerus vanished.
"Where?!"
Alarm bells rang in Goku and Vegeta's heads as they pushed their senses to the limit.
Nothing.
They couldn't detect Beerus at all.
"You're… above you."
Beerus's lazy voice drifted down from overhead.
The two looked up sharply.
At some point, Beerus had appeared directly above them, palms facing downward—each aimed at one of them.
Two purple spheres of Destruction Energy rapidly condensed in his hands.
"Try this."
With a casual wave—
The two seemingly harmless energy spheres shot downward!
"Damn it! Move, Kakarot!" Vegeta roared.
His blue aura exploded as he dodged sideways at extreme speed, transforming into a streak of light.
Goku reacted just as fast. Almost the instant Vegeta shouted, Goku retreated and vanished—reappearing more than a thousand meters away.
Boom! Boom!
The two spheres slammed into the ground where they had been standing.
"Th-that was close…" Goku gasped, his heart still racing.
"Bastard…" Vegeta growled.
"This guy's been toying with us the whole time!"
He—Vegeta, Prince of Saiyans!
To catch up to Goku.
To catch up to Loren.
He had cast aside his pride and dignity, staying in the God of Destruction Realm like a servant for an entire year!
Enduring hellish training day after day—
Only to barely master the power of the gods: Super Saiyan Blue!
He truly believed he had been reborn.
Even if he couldn't yet compare to Loren or Beerus, he thought he was at least worthy of standing on the same battlefield!
But reality slapped him hard.
In front of Beerus, his Super Saiyan Blue meant nothing.
He was nothing more than a toy.
This humiliation—
Was worse than death.
"AAAAAAHHHH—!!!"
An uncontrollable rage exploded from the depths of Vegeta's soul.
"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME, YOU STINKY CAT!!!"
Vegeta roared.
Fueled by fury, his azure aura grew denser and more violent!
Crackling blue lightning wrapped around his body!
His muscles swelled visibly, and his aura surged—far stronger than before!
Super Saiyan Blue Evolved!
Under the stimulus of pure rage, Vegeta had touched the threshold of a higher realm!
"Oh?" Beerus looked at Vegeta, whose power had suddenly skyrocketed, genuine surprise flashing in his eyes.
"He broke through in the middle of battle? Interesting. Saiyans really are fascinating creatures."
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!"
Vegeta was completely consumed by rage.
He vanished.
In the next instant, Vegeta appeared directly in front of Beerus, his fist—packed with all his fury—smashing straight toward Beerus's face!
Facing this sudden, vastly strengthened punch—
Beerus finally grew serious.
He focused power into his right hand.
Bang!
Vegeta's fist was stopped cold.
A violent shockwave erupted from the point of impact, tearing through the surroundings.
"You've improved," Beerus said calmly.
"But you're still nowhere near enough."
