Just as Loren was watching Goku and the others receive guidance from Whis with great interest, the system's voice rang out in his mind.

Loren's heart stirred.

Loren had been envious when he'd seen Beerus use it before. He never expected the system to issue a mission like this, with such a reward.
And the requirement?
Sparring with Whis.
That was exactly what Loren wanted.

The corner of Loren's mouth lifted slightly.
Was there a better sparring partner than an Angel?
"I accept this mission," Loren decided without hesitation.
He withdrew his gaze from Goku and the others, turned around, and walked toward Whis, who was calmly sipping tea nearby.
Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan all noticed Loren's movement. They stopped training and looked over curiously.
"Mr. Whis," Loren said as he approached, wearing his usual calm smile.
"Oh my, Mr. Loren, do you need something?" Whis set down his teacup and asked elegantly.
"It's rare to come to the God of Destruction Realm, and the environment here is truly excellent," Loren said politely, then got straight to the point.
"How about we have a spar?"
The entire area fell silent.
"What?!" Goku was the first to shout, eyes wide. "Loren wants to fight Mr. Whis?! Is that for real?!"
Vegeta also looked stunned.
This guy actually dared to challenge Whis? How far had his strength progressed?
Gohan swallowed nervously. His master's actions were always unpredictable.
"On Earth, I can't fight freely because I'm afraid of destroying the planet," Loren continued. "But here, that shouldn't be a problem, right?"
Whis showed a trace of surprise. He looked Loren up and down, as if reassessing him.
A moment later, a smile full of interest spread across his face.
"Oh ho ho ho… Mr. Loren, you really know how to make things interesting," Whis chuckled softly as he stood up, his staff lightly tapping before disappearing.
"It has indeed been a long time since I stretched my muscles."
He looked at Loren and winked playfully.
"I should remind you—I am very strong."
"The feeling is mutual," Loren replied with a grin as his fighting spirit surged.
Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan immediately flew far away, not wanting to get caught in the clash between these two monsters.
Their eyes were filled with anticipation.
This was a top-tier confrontation in Universe 7. Watching it would be immensely beneficial.
"Then, Mr. Loren—please," Whis said, gesturing lightly. "You may begin at any time."
"Then I won't hold back!" Loren took a deep breath and stopped suppressing his power.
"Haaaah—!"
Boom!!!
A sky-blue aura erupted from Loren like a volcanic explosion. The entire God of Destruction Realm trembled violently under the pressure.
Brilliant blue light completely engulfed his body.
Super Saiyan Blue — full power!
"So… so strong!" Goku exclaimed from afar, feeling the pressure.
"It's way stronger than Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue from before!"
Vegeta crossed his arms, his expression dark.
The gap… had widened again.
"I'm coming, Mr. Whis!"
Loren roared as his figure vanished.
In the next instant, he appeared in front of Whis, throwing a punch packed with terrifying force!
Whis simply smiled faintly, leaning back at an impossible angle and narrowly avoiding it.
"Oh my, that's very fast indeed."
Loren didn't pause for even a moment. Fists, feet, elbows, and knees blurred into countless afterimages, attacking from all directions!
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Dull impacts echoed endlessly, each collision sending ripples through space itself.
Whis remained completely relaxed.
With nothing but subtle movements, he dodged every single attack.
"Damn it—I can't hit him at all!" Loren was secretly shocked.
Whis's realm was far beyond his imagination.
"In that case…"
Loren abruptly retreated, creating distance.
He closed his eyes, slowly restraining the surging aura.
When he opened them again, his presence had completely changed.
Silver-white light replaced the sky-blue glow.
Ultra Instinct!
"That… that is—!" Goku and Vegeta's pupils shrank at the same time.
It was that form!
The same state Loren had used to fight Beerus to a standstill!
"Oh?" Whis's expression finally grew serious.
"Ultra Instinct… Mr. Loren, it seems you've become even stronger than before."
Loren's demeanor transformed completely.
Every movement followed pure battle instinct.
Whoosh!
His figure vanished again.
This time, his speed surpassed even before.
A hint of approval flashed in Whis's eyes. He raised his palm instead of dodging.
Clang!
Loren's fist was stopped by Whis's open hand.
An invisible shockwave exploded outward, stirring massive waves on the distant lake.
"He blocked it?!" Loren's heart tightened.
"Your body's reactions are indeed impressive," Whis said with a smile.
Before the words even finished—
Whis moved.
He extended a finger and lightly poked toward Loren's chest.
The movement looked ordinary. Not fast. Not flashy.
But Loren's instincts screamed danger.
His body tried to dodge—but the surrounding space felt solidified. He couldn't escape at all.
With no choice, Loren crossed his arms and took the hit head-on.
Bang!
A dull explosion rang out.
Loren was blasted backward like a cannonball, flying over a thousand meters before barely stopping himself.
"Cough…"
Lowering his arms, Loren felt numbness spreading through them as his blood churned violently.
So strong…
Is this the power of an Angel?
