"Yujin, my pretty nephew! Please sign this!"
"Huh?"
On a warm day in early summer, when hydrangeas and peonies filled the front yard and lavenders surrounded Ian's bedroom, Ella came to visit them with a book in her hands and immediately put it in Eugene's hands, who was resting on the patio after his morning walking exercise. A good time, since he was getting bored watching his dad having a lovey-dovey gardening time with Robert.
"Oh...my book?" Eugene blinked, looking at the book with a weird expression.
Ella tilted her head. "Huh? Why are you looking like you've never seen it?"
"Ah...that's because I never did," Eugene said, flipping over the book with interest.
"What?!"
"I mean...I saw the mock-up, but..."
"Don't authors usually receive a few exemplars for themselves?"
