Naturally, the viewing room wasn't as big as a cinema. Not every crew member would see it, just the team leaders, the writers, and the marketing team. Besides Elijah, the only other actor was the one playing Jude, but what surprised Eugene was someone he didn't expect:
The chief editor from the publishing company.
"Huh? Mrs Roth?" Eugene raised his brows.
The woman, probably just a few years younger than his dad, waved at him. "I told you to call me Julia."
Still taking his husband's hand, Eugene dragged the alpha to sit beside the chief editor. "Are you here to see if the book is worth publishing?" Eugene smiled. "Ah, this is my husband."
Arthur flinched—once again, he still wasn't used to being called that in public. He leaned forward to shake the chief editor's hand, trying hard to remember her features in the dim light. "Arthur," he said.
"Julia Roth," the chief editor smiled. "Now, you didn't even tell me you were married, Eugene."
