As the freedom approached the freighter, a gangway connected to the freighter, and a squad of fully armed Death Watch warriors was ready to board at the entrance.
As soon as the hatch opened, B1 Battle Droids filled the entire space, and they began to aim.
"Enemy detected, open fire!"
"Understood, understood."
"Why Mandaloreans again, oh ah!"
A well-equipped Death Watch squad quickly dealt with the B1 Battle Droids, which seemed to be just there for numbers. "Hmm, now it's time to announce the resurrection of our Death Watch!" Kote said, then shot and destroyed the monitor.
"Very good, now let's do something a true Death Watch would do. Let them know we will be the worst pirates in Mandalore, let the galaxy burn!" Kote suddenly remembered the words of a great filial son.
"It's over, boss is really getting into character," Lei said, looking at Kote, then led his squad in ahead.
"Charge!" Kote, holding a Gallar-15 blaster carbine, charged directly towards the bridge.
Inside the bridge, Dooku looked at the shattered monitors and the Death Watch rushing in, and immediately made a major decision: "Everyone, head to the escape pods. Let the B1 Battle Droids guard the bridge."
"Understood, understood. Then I'm the Captain," a Commander B1 Battle Droid said, pointing at the other B1 Battle Droids and starting to give orders.
Dooku had a squad of Trade Federation Defense Forces guard him closely; he had to survive, everyone else didn't matter.
At this moment, Kote and his group had fought their way through the entire freighter and burst into the bridge, but what greeted them was a large group of B1 Battle Droids inside the bridge.
"Uh oh, Mandaloreans!" a B1 Battle Droid at the main entrance exclaimed, but was immediately shot down.
"Surrender or die," Lei asked the B1 Battle Droids.
The Commander immediately raised his hands in surrender but was shot down by Lei with two shots. "Just kidding, I'll shoot even if you surrender."
A minute later, there were no conscious beings on the entire bridge except for the Death Watch. "How many men did we lose?" Kote asked Lei.
"Three A-wings and two vikings, and three brothers were injured during boarding."
"Send their families 100,000 in blood money, don't let their lives be too difficult," Kote said, patting Lei and instructing him.
"Alright, start transporting their cargo," Kote directed everyone to start moving the cargo to their ship, then realized there was no way to fit all the cargo.
"Hmm... it's a bit too bad, otherwise, let's make this the New Death Watch base," Kote had a flash of inspiration, and acted on it. Kote had people start setting up, but he couldn't stay here any longer because there were still many people waiting for him to rescue in the escape pods.
At this time, Dooku had already escaped to the escape pod and sent another message to Vadiel: "The Death Watch has seized our ship, so we request your rescue. We don't know when they will attack our escape pod."
"Hmm... such big news is truly shocking. After all, we just finished our attack on the Death Watch a year ago, and I didn't expect them to rise from the ashes. I need to discuss this with Governor Kote, as I am just a small figure and cannot make such a big decision," Murto said to Dooku.
"I still have money, so please help me. I will continue to fund the development of the Mandaloreans!" Dooku, completely lacking his former arrogance, said to Murto in a humble tone.
"I think Governor Kote will also support me in this suggestion," Murto sent a message to Military Camp Starport One, telling them to go to Dooku's coordinates to rescue them.
"Thank you."
Then Dooku sent a communication to Nute Gunray, who was still a Republic Council Member at the time: "Sorry, Council Member, I was attacked by pirates, and all my cargo is lost."
Gunray was stunned after hearing this. "Didn't I give you more escort ships, even two light cruisers! You incompetent fool! When you return to Cato Neimoidia, you must personally compensate for these, and go to the Trade Federation Defense Forces for more training," Gunray said, then immediately hung up the communication.
At this time, Kote returned to Vadiel, personally piloting a kuat-class light freighter to rescue Dooku. "Hello, Captain Dooku, I warned you before not to underestimate those pirates. They have already destroyed many other counterparts in the Mandalore Sector," Kote extended his hand and brought Dooku and the others onto the kuat-class.
"It was my carelessness, but these were all the fleets I could mobilize. Nothing like this has ever happened on other routes. Council Member Gunray will really fire me from my Captain position now," Dooku said, head bowed and in low spirits, as he was about to go bankrupt and be assigned to ground service in the Defense Forces.
"Don't worry, Captain Dooku, perhaps by the time you can become Captain again, we will have completely annihilated this group of pirates, or you could cooperate with my Free Mandalore, you know, escort services," Kote recommended to Dooku.
"Perhaps."
Upon reaching Vadiel, the Trade Federation personnel had already made arrangements. It was the same prison room as last time, only this time they could enter and exit freely, and no one would restrict them. They just had to wait for the Trade Federation's rescue team to arrive to return to Cato Neimoidia.
Meanwhile, on the lucrehulk-class freighter, which was being used as the New Death Watch base, Lei led the SCVs brought from Vadiel to repair various facilities on it. He also transmitted the surveillance records from the freighter to Cato Neimoidia and piled up the B1 Battle Droids to await collection by personnel from Vadiel.
After reviewing these records, Gunray immediately reported them to the Trade Federation headquarters and issued a bounty, and instructed all freighters passing through the Mandalore Sector to contact Governor Kote of Vadiel in advance for security protection.
"This should be what he wants. Maybe this New Death Watch is something he raised himself, but credits can solve ninety-nine percent of the world's problems; the remaining one percent just isn't enough," Gunray muttered to himself, lying on the sofa after completing these tasks.
While such things were happening in the Mandalore Sector, on Jabiim, Korian Vos, one of Sidious's secret apprentices, was carrying out the task his Master had given him: to unify all of Jabiim.
Korian Vos stood on a high ground, looking through a telescope at a Trandoshan camp below. Behind him followed a group of liberated Jabiim residents, who had now been trained by him into warriors, warriors born for revenge, to take revenge on all who had abandoned and enslaved them.
"Attack! Kill all who wish to enslave Jabiim!" Vos shouted from the high ground.
Behind him, a group of people dressed in local Jabiim attire, holding E-5 blaster rifles, directly ziplined down from the high ground. Vos, as the leader, drew his red lightsaber and was the first to leap down from the high ground.
"Die, all who oppress us, and the Republic that abandoned us!" Vos descended from the sky, his red lightsaber instantly severing a Trandoshan's head.
"For Jabiim!" The Jabiim warriors, sliding down ropes, fired their E-5s at all the Trandoshans, providing cover for Vos. They then charged into the camp from the front, fighting alongside Vos to liberate the other Jabiim people.
With the death of all the Trandoshans, this rescue mission was successfully completed. Korian Vos, as the leader of the Jabiim liberation faction, successfully carried out his Master's mission.
And after this, he was given another mission, which was to cooperate with the Trade Federation and help Nute Gunray become the Governor of the Trade Federation. After this, Jabiim would receive support from the Trade Federation, and Vos would be supported.
