Lara was losing her mind.
"What do you mean, you still haven't found him?" she snapped at Lazarus.
The bodyguard grimaced and took a step back.
"I am so sorry, ma'am. I honestly have no idea which hospital the boss was transferred to. I have all of my boys out there, looking for him. Please, just be patient with me. I'll find him very soon," Lazarus responded in a reassuring manner, but Lara was too worried about her husband and too pissed about the entire situation, to care.
So she glared at Lazarus.
"I am at the risk of losing my mind. It doesn't help that these foolish doctors think I am too delicate to be released. I need you to find Curtis. Find my husband. From this moment onwards, don't do anything. Don't even dare pause to take a breath. FIND MY HUSBAND," she ordered.
Her voice had a sharp edge to it, and she sounded really angry. But underneath all that anger was fear.
Mind numbing, soul crushing fear.
Lazarus nodded curtly at her words.
