The punch came flying straight toward him—
fast as lightning.
But Sharnwas lightning.
Electric arcs danced across his body; the world slowed in his eyes.
The combination of his Thunder Fruit and Observation Haki sharpened his senses to their limit — his reactions far beyond the human realm.
In one smooth motion, his form shifted midair:
The Violet-Black Dragon condensed into his hybrid human-dragon form.
He hovered, arms sheathed in purple electricity, his outer shell scaled like obsidian armor, his core blazing with lightning itself.
The result — the defense of a Mythical Zoan, and the intangibility of a Logia.
To wound him, an opponent would have to first pierce the dragon-scale armor, then strike the elemental organs within —
a near-impossible task.
Thunder cracked through the sky as Sharn exhaled, his breath shimmering cold and sharp.
His eyes glowed red — the mark of fully awakened Observation Haki.
His fists, wrapped in lightning and Haki, radiated heat like molten steel.
Fire burst intermittently from his back, spiraling around him.
Suspended in the air through the power of the Thunder Fruit, his presence was suffocating.
"So this is your trump card?" he said, smirking.
"A 'chameleon'? You're just a lizard that changes color."
He was the dragon — the true apex.
This was the form the Chameleon had always dreamed of but could never reach.
"You think mockery will shake my focus? My Observation Haki is absolute!"
Chameleon's voice trembled despite his words. His lips twitched, his nostrils flared — but his tone remained defiant.
He waved his hand, and Air Doors began appearing all around the sky.
"You said my Copy Fruit could never awaken… yet I stand closer to awakening than anyone before me!"
"No one before has ever used this fruit to wield multiple powers at once!"
"When I show you my full strength, you'll regret every word you've said!"
His body turned into smoke again; countless Air Doors opened above the battlefield like mirrors of glass.
Meanwhile, Sharn pressed his palms together, compressing the storm itself.
Lightning, fire, and Haki merged — forming a spinning lotus, or rather, three rotating magatama jewels.
The Paw-Paw Fruit drove the compression deeper and deeper, refining energy to its limit.
When released, this would be his strongest attack yet.
"Tyrant's Annihilation — Triple Magatama!"
He wanted to see how long this idiot would let him charge it.
"Hahahaha! Afraid yet, Sharn!?" Chameleon's voice echoed from the sky.
"Paramecia, Logia, Zoan — the perfect union! None can match me!"
Seven hundred twenty degrees of Air Doors surrounded Sharn.
Chameleon, still in smoke form, threaded his mist through the portals, creating a seamless, impenetrable defense.
"Die! Die! Even the strongest can't survive without air!"
He expelled all the oxygen within, forming a vacuum barrier—a dome of Air Doors chained together by smoke.
Inside, silence.
Sharn blinked once.
He didn't feel much of anything.
Vacuum? Really?
He chuckled.
Did this fool forget that Enel, another Thunder user, had lived comfortably in outer space?
Why would he need air?
This trick might have been perfect—
against anyone else.
"Silence, blindness, and no air to breathe," Chameleon gloated outside the dome.
"Within, your senses are crippled, and my strikes move faster through the void."
"Not that you can hear me now…"
He drew back his arm; his body expanded again into the Golden Buddha Form.
Light poured down his shoulders as he gathered Haki in his hand.
"Now—this is the end!"
His golden fist plunged through a portal, smashing into the void within.
"Buddha Shockwave!"
But inside the silent darkness, Sharn moved too.
"Paw Shockwave!"
Neither heard the other's cry.
The two blasts collided, splitting the silence apart.
Pressure ripped through the air dome, scattering the smoke.
Chameleon's masterpiece — shattered.
"Pathetic."
Within the collapsing vacuum, Sharn's body blazed with violet thunder.
He filled the space with lightning, every molecule charged until it became a sphere of raw energy.
"Go."
The Triple Magatama Energy Core — a spiraling ball of compressed fire, lightning, and Haki — launched from his palm.
When Chameleon's golden fist reappeared, wrapped in high-grade Haki—
it met the orb head-on.
"Burst."
The explosion devoured the world.
Purple lightning tore through the air.
The power of an entire harbor had been compressed into a single point—then unleashed.
Fire cascaded like a sea of magma; Haki cut through it all like blades of glass.
"I may not have your level of Haki," Sharn said calmly,
"but mine has quality you can't match."
The explosion ripped through the smoke, shattered the Air Doors, and pierced the golden Buddha hand.
"GAAAH—!!"
Chameleon screamed.
His arm bled; his bones cracked; pain seared deep into memory.
When he staggered back into view, his hand was torn open, blood raining down.
His once flawless strategy lay in ruins, the battlefield reduced to a cratered sea.
Thunder roared endlessly above.
Lightning cascaded like waterfalls of light.
When the smoke cleared, Sharn stood hovering, wrapped in violet flame.
Below, Chameleon clutched his ruined arm, face pale and eyes wide.
The arrogance was gone — replaced by disbelief and fury.
"I told you," Sharn said softly,
"your fruit development is… mediocre."
He raised his clawed hand.
Lightning danced between his fingers; the heavens obeyed.
Thunderbolts descended, thousands at once, slamming into the port until it became a sea of light.
"You dare mock me!?"
Chameleon wiped the blood from his chin, jaw trembling.
He clenched his broken arm, bone snapping back into place with a crack.
His entire body ignited with Armament Haki.
"You and I—this doesn't end until one of us is dead!"
Fur sprouted across his skin; muscle expanded.
He had entered the Beast-Man form of the Lion-Tiger, his Ancient Zoan power manifesting.
It was the perfect form for close-quarters combat, feral and unrelenting.
"As you wish."
Sharn tilted his head, rolling his neck with a grin.
He inhaled once—
and the thunder answered.
"Aaaaaah!"
His roar split the sky.
Every motion sent lightning writhing like serpents along his body.
His fists gleamed — Haki solidifying into a visible, crystalline texture — a sign of transcendence, beyond mere hardening.
The heavens trembled.
The true fight had just begun.
