The space fell noticeably quiet, with only the soft music continuing to play. The two of them looked at each other without saying a word. Mei's face grew even redder. The disco ball spun slowly, colored lights sweeping across her cheeks.
Mei paused for a moment, then suddenly yelled,
"No! Say more!"
She wasn't tired of it at all!
Haiz, she was hopeless completely at the mercy of a man's sweet words.
She loved hearing things like this. She really was a shallow, materialistic girl!
Otis couldn't help it, he laughed.
Mei ground her teeth. What was he laughing at? Was he really that happy seeing his girlfriend all flustered? She huffed and turned away.
"I'm not talking to you anymore."
Otis didn't respond. He simply continued choosing songs.
"Is there anything you want to listen to? If you're not singing, we can just play music."
Honestly, going to karaoke didn't require singing. Just playing songs was enjoyable enough.
