With passage through the river, the two former heroes, Lopis and Josan, were able to cross the dense forest and reach the city of Vermis.
A long line stretched before them, leading toward the wall behind it. Beyond the wall stood the largest building in sight, its alignment strangely unusual.
"Teleport me inside," Lopis said to Josan.
Josan immediately shook his head, then turned and flicked his fingers. When he finally did it—
Purple flames erupted around them both, and within a breath, they were teleported inside. Lopis closed his eyes during the travel.
In his weakened state, it was too risky to suffer the lashback from staring into the anta space.
Josan's voice softly whispered into the anta space as they traveled.
"The Hollow Knight's remains are still in the Mira River. The ferrymen and the Ledger remain in place. The site is undisturbed, but soon it will fall, and the Death God heretics will revive the Hollow Army."
Lopis shook his head but did not reply.
