Edwin, who was known for being childish, looked like he wanted to grumble, but Darren elbowed him sharply. If he dared complain, I would have clawed him right here and now.
"Welcome to Green Pack mansion," Darren said, turning to Clarissa and speaking half-heartedly. Luna and Edwin remained silent, as if they hadn't heard anything at all.
Clarissa's name had already been cleared. How could they still act like this?
They owed her an apology. No, more than that. They should suffer at least half of what Clarissa had endured.
My anger was reaching its limit.
As my inner wolf's aura began to leak, Clarissa sent me a mind-link. Did she really have to be that sensitive? Or were Obby and her inner wolf simply too in sync, able to sense each other instantly?
At least it proved one thing.
