Chapter 65 - [65]: About the addition of five new dishes

"He's already found one."

"After all, there are so many empty classrooms in the school, it's not hard to get one."

Nakamura Yu said indifferently, then, as if remembering something, he asked, "You don't have a specific place in mind, do you?"

"No, not really. It just feels like the club formation process went too fast."

Nakamura Yu said nonchalantly, "You don't even look at who's helping you with it."

"If you went to the relevant departments, who knows how long it would take to process."

"Then I really appreciate your hard work, Teacher Nakamura. I'll treat you to izakaya sometime."

Nakamura Yu turned his head in surprise, as if he was seeing Akira for the first time.

"It really surprises me that you, a kid, can say something like that, but let's skip the meal."

"Although you're all adults, drinking with my students is something I'm still not used to."

"It's also pretty boring to drink alone."

Akira thought about it and realized there was no need to say he could drink with him, as his own alcohol tolerance wasn't very good.

It's better not to actively do things that harm one's body.

Akira followed Nakamura Yu to an empty classroom.

The classroom was located in a corner on the first floor of the teaching building. It looked like it had been abandoned for a long time, with a thick layer of dust on the floor, and the classroom was so dim that the words on the blackboard were illegible.

"What do you think of this classroom?"

Nakamura Yu asked with a smile.

"By all accounts, it's impossible to think it's good, right?"

As if to confirm again, Akira asked Nakamura Yu, "Teacher Nakamura, you're not joking, are you? This one?"

Seeing Nakamura Yu nod slightly, a knowing smile on his face, Akira could only sigh.

Oh well, oh well. We already have a club room, so let's not ask for too much.

Although this classroom had been empty for a long time and the lighting wasn't great, it was at least spacious.

It looks like a lot of things can be added.

Akira walked over and turned on the lights in the classroom.

As the lights came on, the gloomy atmosphere in the classroom was instantly dispelled.

Fortunately, there were no equipment problems, otherwise it would have been a real mess.

"If you have any requests, just let me know, and I'll try my best to get the school to meet your club's needs."

Nakamura Yu patted his chest and declared boldly.

I always feel like this isn't Teacher Nakamura's usual style.

Akira thought to himself, 'Could this promise be influenced by my skill?'

After all, besides making him more articulate, his social skills haven't shown any other uses yet.

Thinking about it, could it just be making people feel friendly towards him and want to be his friend?

No wonder Shiki and Murakami Kouki became friends with him so easily and agreed to join his club.

Akira felt increasingly lucky.

This kind of subtle influence always makes people can't help but anticipate the next surprise.

After giving his instructions, Teacher Nakamura left the school directly, seemingly only staying in the classroom to wait for Akira.

Akira returned to the classroom and found Shiki and Murakami Kouki waiting.

"Kashiwagi, Murakami, let's get to work!"

"Huh?"

"Teacher Nakamura has assigned us a classroom, but it's a bit dirty inside, so we need to clean it ourselves."

Akira explained.

Then he turned to look at Wakana, who was studying, and said, "This time, everyone in our club has to participate in the cleaning."

Shiki and Murakami Kouki were cheerful and didn't show any signs of reluctance about the work.

The three of them walked over to Wakana's desk. Akira patted Wakana's shoulder.

"Wakana."

"Huh, Akira-kun! Is something wrong?"

Seeing the two classmates behind Akira, Wakana asked confusedly.

Behind him seemed to be Shiki and Murakami Kouki from his class, who were also quite popular.

And, it seemed Akira-kun had invited them to join the club.

"The club has a clubroom now, and we're going to clean it. You should come too."

"Oh, oh."

Wakana quickly stood up, looked at his two classmates opposite him, and bowed.

"Although we are classmates, let's reintroduce ourselves. I'm Wakana, and I'm happy to be in the same club as everyone."

"We're also happy to be in the same club as you, Gojo-kun."

Shiki and Murakami Kouki both said with a smile.

The four of them gathered enough cleaning tools and hurried downstairs to the clubroom in the corner of the first floor.

"This... this is what you meant by 'a bit dirty,' Akira ?!"

Kashiwagi pointed to the clumpy dirt on the floor and said.

"I feel like, if it can be cleaned, it's not too dirty."

Akira said with some hesitation, while Wakana awkwardly rubbed his neck.

He felt like the floor was really a bit terrifying.

"Then let's start!"

Akira called out, "Murakami, you're the strongest, move all the desks to the back and stack them up. Kashiwagi and I will deal with the dust in the classroom."

"Can Murakami-san do it alone?"

Wakana asked hesitantly.

"Don't worry, Murakami is amazing," Shiki said, leaning on a broom with one hand and adjusting his glasses with the other, reassuring Wakana.

"Absolutely no problem."

Murakami Kouki also gave his answer.

"Well then, let's do our best!" Akira raised the broom in his hand.

"Let's go!"

Amidst the flying dust, the diligent cleaning work began.

An hour later, the four of them leaned on the only remaining table in the classroom, panting.

"That was really tiring."

Shiki said, "I'm starting to regret it a little."

"But, it's already done, isn't it? If we quit now, we'd regret it even more."

"That's true."

Wakana said softly.

"It feels so much more spacious after cleaning."

Murakami Kouki commented, looking around, "We can put a lot of things in here then."

"Yes, at least Wakana can settle down."

Akira said.

"Eh?"

Shiki and Murakami Kouki both turned their heads.

"What does that mean?"

Akira glanced at Wakana, and seeing that he had no intention of stopping him from speaking, he explained with relief.

"Wakana's family makes Hina dolls, so he's been practicing making hina ningyo."

"He was secretly using the electric sewing machine in the upstairs classroom before."

"How amazing, Hina dolls! They say people who can make those are really skilled."

Murakami said in surprise, his face red from overexertion, breathing heavily.

"I... I'm just a beginner."

Wakana said modestly.

"So, the condition for me to ask Gojo to join the club was that he could practice making clothes at school."

"Therefore, there's one more thing to do."

"That is to move the electric sewing machine left over from the disbanded Handicraft Club upstairs!"

"Eh?!"

Wakana let out a surprised exclamation of doubt.
