Before returning to her own room, Qiu Yue went to find Xia Qing first. Looking at the sky, she took a turn in the garden's direction. She should be collecting flowers to be used as dye at this time.
Forty minutes later, Qiu Yue arrived at the central garden and saw a group of maidservants collecting flowers and some fruits. Not far from them, Xia Qing was picking out the ones that could be used as dye materials from the bamboo baskets.
Seeing how focused she was, Qiu Yue smiled and called out, "Qingqing."
Hearing the familiar voice, Xia Qing stopped what she was doing and turned toward the source of the voice. The moment she saw her sister, a smile bloomed on her face.
As the youngest of Xue Ya'er's first-rank maidservants, she still had some baby fat on her cheeks, making her look more childish. With her big, bright eyes, she looked younger than her actual age.
"Sister Ah Yue, it's rare for you to visit the garden. Do you need anything from me?" she asked curiously.
