With just a glance, Dong Mei recognized Ah Jun's handwriting. In that instant, his wooden expression appeared in her mind, and the corner of her lips was lifted slightly.
The letter contained instructions from her Lady regarding the matters in the General Mansion and the business deal with Lei Feng.
As the head maid, this was not a big problem for her. When she finished reading the letter, she folded it and kept it in her clothes.
Unlike Dong Mei, the letter addressed to Qiu Yue only had one instruction, which was telling her and Xia Qing to go to Northeast City.
Besides the order telling them to go, Ah Jun also wrote that the Lady was currently pregnant. So, they were asked to bring everything needed to care for the pregnancy and the health-nourishing products that would be used during the postnatal period.
As soon as Qiu Yue finished reading the letter, she curtsied to Steward Han and said, "Steward Han, the Lady ordered Xia Qing and me to go to Northeast City."
