Chapter 15: Legate X Legion
Gilgamesh lounged comfortably in his luxurious bathroom, after completing his bubble bath, he rested on a stool. A heated towel was wrapped tightly around his waist which was the only thing covering him as three gorgeous women attended to his every need. One of the gorgeous women hand fed him purple grapes and tangerines, a second woman with the hands of divine pleasure beat into his back muscles which relieved some tension built up over the last two matches Gilgamesh won with extreme ease. The third woman rubbed moisturizer on his vibrate skin. She lifted his legs and applied the lubricant on his calves, shins, and then sank to his ankles.
Gilgamesh's grandiose introduction to the Heaven Arena brought spectators from the locals and then far beyond as the stands were packed to witness the enigmatic self proclaimed King and his unrivaled strength and charisma. Even the fighters of the 200th Floor began to fear challenging him, after five straight victories, scheduling matches became scarce, and fighters refused to sign up on the same day as him.
No matter how much footage they reviewed from his matches, they couldn't see themselves escaping Gilgamesh's Nen swords. Little did they know that the six conjured swords was only the tip of the iceberg of the King's Nen Ability.
Over the few weeks of Gilgamesh's stay in Heavens Arena, his fame and grace inspired women to throw themselves onto his doormat and after proving themselves useful to him, he allowed them to remain in his renovated hotel suite. Due to killing his next door neighbor, Gilgamesh ordered the staff to destroy the boundaries of the two rooms and merge them. The owners of the Heavens Arena didn't mind obliging him because this meant for permanent residency and the man brought in people around the continent to watch him.
This also meant Gilgamesh negotiated a contract between them for him to receive large sums of earnings because typically fighters weren't allowed to earn money from official matches but words such as rules and normality don't work properly around Gilgamesh.
After feeling his needs sufficiently cared for, Gilgamesh stomped to his feet and exited the warm bathroom. The women followed him into his expansive closet, Gilgamesh found comfort in his usual seat as the woman got to work getting him dressed. He wore his usual attire before a fight, his glamored golden vest, a golden amulet wrapped around his neck, golden bracelets clung to his wrists, and finishing the outfit with satin trousers.
Now ready for his evening fight, Gilgamesh strolled past his newly decorated living room filled with lavish ornaments, oil paintings, and glistening chandeliers. He exited his private suit and traveled down the red lavish hallway toward the elevators. His right index finger inched toward the up button but before his finger could press it, a different longer fingernail pressed it before him.
Gilgamesh's gaze followed up the fingernail, a cute black haired woman in a suit and clutched onto a clipboard. Her hair was pulled back in a professional bun and had black rimmed glasses. She had an average body and appeal but a small mole appeared just below her bottom lip, adding a uniqueness which appealed to Gilgamesh.
The blonde woman gave a formal bow. "Hello, Your Excellency. Excuse my intention for pressing the button before you, I know you are more than capable of pushing it on your own but with someone of your pedigree I believe it was my obligation to press it before you."
Gilgamesh folded his arms and observed the woman, well aware of this interaction, he remained quiet and waited to hear what she had to offer.
The 200th floor and above had their own elevator system to make the tower more efficient and not have those residing at the top waiting for their elevator ride. So the door further to the right dinged and opened, Gilgamesh didn't hesitate to enter.
After following Gilgamesh into the elevator, the woman continued. "My name is Imane, I was trained to be of service and assist people of great magnitude. After learning about Your Excellency, I knew I had to be of your service and assist you with whatever you desire."
Gilgamesh looked down at the woman, seeming to be a little young to be of use and didn't notice anything special. However, he did appreciate her tone and appreciation of his greatness, so he would entertain this conversation. He scoffed. "And why do you believe I need your help to get whatever I desire?"
"I've already done my sufficient research on you, Your Excellency. Any decent assistant will seek out knowledge on their future employer, if there is anything that catches your eyes, a certain delicacy or beauty, I will help you obtain the necessary information to send you in the right direction. Do not doubt my avenues of resources," responded Imane in a confident and relaxed tone. She pushed the rim of her glasses further up the bridge of her nose as the elevator rose. Her fingers swiftly flipped a few pages of her clipboard and then stopped once she reached the desired page.
"You've acquired an inkling of my tastes? I wonder in which means you've gone to obtain them," Gilgamesh said with a smile brewing. "And what is it that I seek?"
Imane revealed her clipboard, a printed out picture of gorgeous scarlet colored eyes placed in a solution tank. "The Scarlet Eyes of the Kurta Clan."
The elevator slowed to a stop and signaled their arrival with a chime. The doors slid open for them to depart from the elevator and Gilgamesh strolled out without a response. Even though she was correct, Gilgamesh wasn't moved.
"Anyone could have assumed my piqued interest in the Scarlet Eyes," replied Gilgamesh, turning right which led toward a different hallway for the registered fighters of the 200th floor but Imane didn't hesitate to follow. He noticed in which the grace she carried herself, the elegant woman wore heels but her footsteps vanished from Gilgamesh's ears.
"Of course, Your Excellency," Imane said, flipping the pages of her clipboard to the next page. "As I aforementioned, any decent assistant would have acquired such knowledge prior to offering their services. Here is your ticket to attend the York New Auction, they have only asked for your verification to be able to access the VIP lounge because someone of your stature shouldn't be sitting with the general populus."
Gilgamesh stopped and turned toward the woman. "Verfication?"
Imane's lips stretched to an appropriate smile. "As the next rightful King of the Magi Kingdom."
Gilgamesh reached into his pocket and pulled out the Magi insignia like a coin and flicked it toward Imane. With an open palm, it landed in Imane's right hand. Her eyes gleamed as she looked at the proof of Gilgamesh's Kingly status but more importantly her accurate deduction.
Noticing Gilgamesh's stare, Imane stashed the insignia into her pocket. "Forgive me, I have a hyperfixation on being correct."
Gilgamesh nodded. "You're worthy of being my assistant. Get it done, we will talk in two days."

Heavens Arena spectators screamed and praised Gilgamesh's arrival onto the high concrete platform of the fighting arena. As usual, the blonde and muscular man kept his arms folded and on the outside appeared to be uninterested in the high acceptance of the lowly audience but he was glad that they knew that he was superior to the opposition.
Then, the opponent was next to be announced as the lady screamed into the mic. "And for Gilgamesh's opponent, he isn't a newcomer by any means as we are familiar with this spectacular fighter. He fights with renown grace and beauty but don't let the looks fool you, he can be extremely dangerous and unforgiving. Give it up for Kastro!"
The crowd roared in cheers and the man known as Kastro ascended the stairs to join Gilgamesh in the ring. He wore a long yellow cap on top of gray robes that reached to his olive color shoes covering his whole body.
The referee stood at a distance forming a triangle with the two fighters. He deemed them ready for the fight and prepared the signal, raising his hand.
"Begin!"
Immediately, Kastro blitzed at Gilgamesh, fueling his hands with Nen.
"Woah! Kastro is determined to end this fight quickly!" The announcer lady shouted in anticipation. "And to nobody's surprise, Gilgamesh remains unbothered with his arms completely folded!"
Six white circles arced around Gilgamesh as he prepared to fire his projectile conjured swords. Kastro's speed wasn't anything to scoff at but he didn't move nearly as fast as the previous Enhancer Gilgamesh faced as his first opponent on the 200th Floor. But since he hasn't seen Kastro's Nen Ability yet, he waited a bit longer for the man to get closer.
In one second, the distance between the two decreased in half and Gilgamesh fired the two conjured swords directly above his head. They shot out with a similar explosion as gunfire. The conjured swords raced toward Kastro as he continued moving forward.
"Tiger Bite Fist!" Kastro shouted as his fingers hooked to mimic claws. His right and left hand collapsed onto each other to form a closed jaw, the force and strength of the Nen shattered the conjured swords. Even with only two hands and one enclosed mouth, he managed to shatter both swords.
"Interesting," Gilgamesh muttered as Kastro didn't hesitate to continue his pursuit like a blood hungry feline. Most of the attending audience couldn't have possibly seen what Kastro did in such quick succession. In a split second, an extra set of limbs conjured from Kastro's chest and shattered the second sword.
To retaliate against Kastro's pursuit, Gilgamesh fired two more swords.
Kastro split down the middle, a wide divide between both sides of his body as his left and right sides of his body re-morphed, creating doubles.
This quick act of splitting into doubles allowed for him to dodge the two blades. They rushed past Kastro and crashed into the cement floor.
With only two swords remaining and Kastro in striking distance, Gilgamesh fired a blade at each of the Kastro doubles.
"True Tiger Bite Fist!" The Kastro's shouted at the same time.
The Kastro to Gilgamesh's right dissipated into a white mist of neutral Nen, unable to produce the necessary amount of Nen to block or shatter the sword and the Kastro on Gilgamesh's left clamped down on the sword with his hands operating like an animal's jaw. However, Kastro underestimated Gilgamesh's firepower and speed of the sword, so he only managed to ensnare the hilt of the crafted sword as the tip of blade penetrated an inch into Kastro's chest.
Kastro gritted his teeth and focused his Nen, strengthening the power in his fingertips to overpower the durability of the conjured blade and then succeed in destroying the blade. Blood seeped from the stab wound soaked his robe as he huffed to regain his strength.
"Critical hit! Gilgamesh!" The referee waved his hands and shouted. Upon hearing this the crowd cheered for joy and hype for the intense matchup.
Gilgamesh glared at Kastro while keeping his arms folded, his posture radiated elegance and strength, completely unbothered by his opponents' attacks.
Kastro flashed a grin. 'Those swords must come with a heavy price.'
Intrigued, Gilgamesh turned his body toward Kastro. "Why do you smile?"
"You ran out of swords. It's my victory," answered Kastro in confidence. Due to the sword's unfathomable strength, speed, and accuracy, Kastro understood the underlying rules of Nen and even knew a bit of its restrictions between the Nen Categories. This was Gilgamesh's limit, the six conjured swords. Before coming into this match, Kastro's strategy was to survive the six swords and victory would be guaranteed.
Of course, normally Kastro would be correct but as demonstrated before, Gilgamesh simply doesn't follow the rules.
"Victory?" Gilgamesh repeated, his right eye brow twitched. He unleashed his deep crimson, orange, and yellow Nen which coated him in a beautiful embrace. In the next instant, yellow and gold circles of Nen manifested all around Gilgamesh. "Insolete mongrel! The blind arrogance!"
Kastro's eyes widened in utter disbelief as the yellow and gold circles of Nen continued to appear in thin air. The number grew beyond twenty as it kept climbing and feeling the space in the air. The Nen Circles rose all the way to the top of the arena, shocking the crowd into silence and the usual blabber mouth announcer lady was speechless, because they all knew the meaning behind each and every circle.
"King of King's Legion: Iron Rain!"
For the first time, Gilgamesh activated his Nen Ability. Finally, the red and gold circles of Nen ceased to manifest, one hundred and twenty glowing lights ready to unleash powerful swords directly at the stunned Kastro.
