The door swung open.
Gu Liang froze in the doorway. Meanwhile, Lingling slipped past him to get to Gu Yuxuan first.
Zimo smiled faintly, looking back at him, and then walked out.
"Mr Gu, I couldn't stop Mr Gu Liang from entering", Lingling said.
"I know. You can go", Gu Yuxuan said.
Good thing Gu Yuxuan realised in time that he had a meeting with his brother. He knew how self-centered he could be and that he wouldn't let anyone tell him to wait. Not to mention a secretary – people he kind of looked down on.
"Mr Gu…", Lingling whispered.
Gu Yuxuan looked at her, waiting.
She raised her hand nervously to her hair, signaling him that his hair was all messed up.
He quickly slid his fingers through it, fixing it, and softly whispering back, "Thank you."
She smiled gently and walked out. Gu Liang gave her a side-eye as she passed him.
