Chapter 101: Terrifying, Truly Terrifying
Boom!
That statement struck everyone's heart with the force of another meteorite impact!
Golden Lion Shiki abruptly raised his head, his cloudy eyes widening until they resembled copper bells!
The Tremor-Tremor Fruit...
That man's ability!
To think it turned out like this!
He looked at Garp, a flame of ambition flashing through his eyes. The Marines, these treacherous dogs, really know how to hide their cards! Just how crazy has this era become?!
Blake's voice pulled their thoughts back to reality.
"Therefore, do not use the logic of this world to measure the value of a dungeon."
Blake's gaze swept over everyone present, his tone becoming exceptionally serious.
"Remember, inside a dungeon, nothing is impossible. The dead can be resurrected, and the weak can ascend to godhood. The power structure of the seas, the order of the world—in there, they are nothing more than scripts that can be rewritten at will. Even the future of your world!"
The entire reef fell into a deathly silence.
Only the whistling sea breeze and the sound of heavy breathing remained.
Resurrecting the dead... the weak becoming gods... changing the future...
Every phrase felt like a heavy war hammer, ruthlessly striking their souls!
For the first time, a violent fluctuation appeared on Dragon's perpetually stoic, iceberg-like face. He clenched his fists, a storm gathering within his deep eyes.
Kizaru adjusted his sunglasses, the look in his eyes obscured by the tinted lenses.
Golden Lion Shiki looked as if all his strength had been drained away; his mouth hung slightly open as he muttered to himself, looking like a madman who had lost his wits.
"I believe Vice Admiral Garp can attest to this point for you," Blake interjected at just the right moment, tossing the conversation to the Marine Hero.
Instantly, three distinct gazes—each containing a different emotion but all filled with extreme shock—locked onto Garp in unison!
"Bwahahahaha!"
Facing their gazes, Garp grinned wide, letting out his signature boisterous laugh. His rows of white teeth stood out starkly in the sunlight.
He nodded, admitting it without any attempt at concealment. "That's right! This old man indeed went to a very interesting place! A world ten years in the future."
A world ten years in the future.
Those words weighed on everyone's heart like an invisible mountain.
The future, is it?
The one most shaken was undoubtedly Dragon. He let out a bitter laugh.
"Ten years later... what has the world become?"
This question carried the weight of half a life spent running, and the blood and sacrifice of countless revolutionary comrades. He wanted to know if the world ten years from now still needed the Revolutionary Army. He wanted to know if that rotting throne had finally collapsed.
"Bwahahahaha!"
Garp's laughter rang out again, breaking the heavy atmosphere. He scratched his head, acting completely carefree.
"This old man wouldn't know about that. The place I went to was just Marine Headquarters, Marineford. As for the geopolitics of the outside world, how would I know?"
Dragon's eyes dimmed slightly.
Just Marine Headquarters...
Although disappointed, it was enough. The movements of the Marines were sufficient to catch a glimpse of the world's state.
However, Garp's next words instantly dropped the atmosphere to a freezing point.
He turned his head, his gaze bypassing the others to land precisely on Kizaru. On that wrinkled face, a smile full of oppressive pressure spread wide.
"However... I do know the situation within the Marines very well. After all, in that dungeon, this old man had a friendly exchange with the three Marine Admirals."
...
Friendly exchange?
Underneath his signature tea-colored sunglasses, the corner of Kizaru's eye twitched violently, though almost imperceptibly.
He felt that every word coming out of Vice Admiral Garp's mouth carried a bone-chilling coldness that crawled all the way up his spine.
Inside the dungeon, just what did this Marine Hero do to the 'me' of another world?!
"Borsalino... you brat..."
Garp grinned, his white teeth glinting in the sun. As he spoke, he whispered in a voice only he could hear, "Just seeing that lazy face of yours gets this old man all excited!"
Boom!
Before his voice even faded, an invisible, terrifying aura exploded from Garp's body!
Not good!
The laziness and sleaze on Kizaru's face vanished in an instant!
His body reacted even faster than his brain!
Almost at the exact moment Garp finished speaking, Kizaru threw his hands high above his head. He leaned his body back slightly, assuming a bizarre posture that looked like he was ready to elementally transform and flee at light speed, yet also looked like he was surrendering.
"Wait, wait, wait! Mr. Garp!"
Kizaru's voice cracked, carrying a tremor even he hadn't noticed.
"Calm down! Please calm down! That happened in the dungeon! That was a parallel universe! It has nothing to do with the me of this world!"
He spat out a long string of words at an astonishing speed, terrified that if he were even half a second too slow, this old lunatic's fist would land on his face.
"We are colleagues! I am your adorable junior! We can't bring personal grudges from other dimensions into reality! That's against the rules! The Fleet Admiral will be angry!"
Fine beads of cold sweat had already seeped out from Kizaru's forehead.
He was scared.
He was truly scared.
The Tremor-Tremor Fruit combined with this old bastard Garp's Iron Fist...
He didn't dare imagine what taking one punch would feel like!
Garp's face became visibly disappointed.
So that's how it is. This isn't the dungeon world. What a pity.
"So..."
Blake stood with his hands in his pockets, leisurely stepping out from behind Garp. His gaze calmly swept over everyone present.
From the shaken Kizaru, to Dragon with his fanatical gaze, and finally to Golden Lion Shiki, whose breathing was rapid and face filled with longing.
Finally, his lips parted lightly, and he asked the question that made the whole world tremble.
"Do you all want to experience it as well?"
Kizaru and the other two nodded their heads like chickens pecking at rice.
What is there to even say?!
We absolutely have to experience this!
"Very well!"
Blake snapped his fingers.
"However, since this is a business, there must be rules."
Kizaru nodded immediately. "That is only natural. Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards. Mr. Blake is absolutely right!"
Although Dragon and Golden Lion didn't speak, their focused gazes already declared their attitude. On this man's turf, his words were the law!
"First."
Blake extended a finger, pointing toward the distant Foosha Village and the entire island beneath their feet.
"From today onwards, a total ban on violence is in effect for this island where Foosha Village is located."
"No matter who it is—Marines, pirates, or the Revolutionary Army—as long as you step onto this island, you must put away your weapons and abilities."
His voice wasn't loud, yet it traveled clearly into everyone's ears.
"Whoever dares to make a move here, the consequences..."
Before he could finish, a laugh that was heroic to the extreme exploded, cutting him off directly!
"The brat Blake is right!"
"From today on, anyone who dares to make a move in Foosha Village is crossing this old man, Garp!"
"Do you hear me, Shiki?"
