Chapter 100: Garp, I'll Go Up and Slap Him Twice

Blake's gaze swept over Kizaru, Dragon, and Garp, one by one, finally landing on the pile of mud that was Golden Lion Shiki at his feet.

A Marine Admiral, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, a Marine Hero...

Plus a legendary great pirate.

This audience... saved him a lot of trouble.

Perfect. He would set the rules today.

"Let's wake this guy up first."

Blake pointed at the Golden Lion on the ground.

"There are some things I want to say, and I only want to say them once."

Oh, really!

The moment his voice fell, Garp was the first to step up, grinning from ear to ear like a 300-pound child, revealing a set of white teeth.

"Hehehe, I'm good at this!"

As he spoke, he flexed his wok-sized fists, his knuckles letting out a series of "crack, crack" pops that made Kizaru's eyelids twitch.

Blake looked at Garp's eager, rubbing-his-hands-together expression, and his own eye twitched.

This old bastard... this is definitely personal.

Garp didn't care. He strode over to the Golden Lion, his eyes flashing with excitement.

He bent down, grabbed Shiki's iconic golden-lion hair, and lifted the legendary great pirate's upper body as if he were lifting a chicken.

"Old bastard, wake up!"

His voice fell, and Garp raised his fan-sized hand.

Smack!

Smack!

Two crisp, loud slaps, powerful and merciless, landed on Golden Lion Shiki's aged face!

The sound was so loud it even drowned out the crashing of the waves on the reef.

The unconscious Shiki's consciousness slowly rose from an endless, chaotic darkness.

What happened?

I... Wasn't I on my Sky Island?

Right, the East Blue... I think I heard some interesting news and rushed to the East Blue...

And then...

His memory started to blur, leaving only fragmented pieces.

It felt like... he'd had an indescribable nightmare.

In the dream, he was grabbed by some brat who came out of nowhere, using an incomprehensible power, and squeezed like an insect, along with his island.

Ridiculous...

How could I have such a laughable dream.

I must have been too tired recently, had a hallucination.

I'm scaring myself!

It's just...

Why does my face hurt so much?

It was burning hot, as if it had been branded twice with a red-hot iron.

Shiki struggled to open his heavy eyelids. His vision gradually cleared from a blur.

A wrinkled old face, grinning in a particularly punchable way, suddenly burst into his field of vision.

Garp?!

This undying old bastard!

The moment he saw Garp, Shiki's consciousness finally cleared completely.

Before he could react, that detestable old face leaned in again, blocking his vision.

Smack!

Smack!

Two more slaps!

Harder than before, more forceful!

"Bastard... Garp!"

Shiki's anger, like an erupting volcano, shot to the top of his head!

He was the Flying Pirate, Golden Lion Shiki!

The overlord who had vied with Roger and Whitebeard for an era!

This old bastard... dared... dared to humiliate him like this!

The ferocity and Haki belonging to a legendary great pirate were about to explode. He roared, "How dare you..."

However, before he could finish his sentence, the corner of his eye happened to glance past Garp's shoulder.

That white-haired young man, arms crossed, watching him with an expression of absolute calm.

BOOM——!!!

It was as if a thunderbolt from the heavens struck deep into Golden Lion Shiki's soul!

That gaze...

That gaze, as calm as if looking at an ant!

It wasn't a dream!

That terrifying "moon," made of islands and seawater, hanging in the sky!

That supreme power that had squeezed him, his entire fleet, and his islands into a ball!

That absolute despair, seeping into his bones, that robbed him of even the will to resist!

Everything... flooded back into his mind like a tidal wave!

It was all real!

"Ugh..."

The anger on Shiki's face, in just one second, faded like a fire starved of fuel.

It was replaced by a deathly pallor.

He stiffly turned his neck, his gaze locked past Garp's shoulder, staring at Blake in the distance as if he had seen a ghost.

Hallucination. It's all a hallucination!

I'm scaring myself!

The Golden Lion closed his eyes. He opened them again!

Blake's face, as handsome as the author's, was still there!

Alright!

The dream is over!

The Golden Lion's spirit visibly withered.

A power like this actually exists in the world... Then what has my effort all these years been for?

Garp noticed the change in him and grinned, revealing a set of white teeth. The hand gripping his collar tightened.

"What's wrong, old friend?"

"Not so arrogant anymore?"

"Where'd that spirit go? The one that was going to smash my hometown?"

Garp's voice was filled with schadenfreude.

In his opinion, this old bastard Shiki's strength was average, but his ability was exceptionally annoying!

The Float-Float Fruit was just too broken!

He was, after all, the first prisoner to ever escape Impel Down. His record was proven!

If this guy's brain hadn't been scrambled by that ship's helm, making him insane, he and Sengoku would never have been able to capture him back then.

"Alright, Vice Admiral Garp."

Just as Garp was enjoying his taunting, Blake shot him a look, cutting him off.

Blake walked over, hands in his pockets.

Garp chuckled, "hehe," and let go, as if he'd done nothing.

Thud.

Golden Lion Shiki immediately slumped onto the reef like a pile of mud, gasping for air.

Blake helped the Golden Lion up and straightened his clothes.

He's an old man, after all. You can't treat the elderly like this.

"Everyone here probably has a general idea of my abilities."

Looking at the bewildered Golden Lion, he smiled.

"Actually, no, it looks like someone still doesn't get it. I'll explain it again."

"Simply put, I am a dungeon merchant."

Merchant?

Golden Lion Shiki's brain completely shut down.

Kizaru's mouth was also twitching.

Merchant? What kind of merchant can casually squeeze a moon into existence and hang it in the sky? This joke isn't funny at all.

Dragon remained expressionless, but his deep eyes glinted with contemplation.

Only Garp had an "I-knew-it" expression, grinning, seemingly excited for what came next.

"Dungeons... you can think of them as fragments of other worlds."

Blake ignored their reactions and explained on his own.

"In those fragments, events will play out according to a fixed 'plot.' You can buy entry qualifications from me. After clearing a dungeon, you have the chance to obtain abilities related to the dungeon's content."

His voice paused, and his gaze shifted to Garp.

"For example, the Tremor-Tremor Fruit ability that Vice Admiral Garp used earlier..."
