Chapter 226 - Chapter 223

After the trial at Wizengamot concluded, Roy was about to leave the grand chambers, his mind already moving on to other matters. The morning sun glinted off the high windows, casting long beams across the marble floor.

"Roy Valvas," a messenger called hurriedly. "Minister Fudge requests your presence."

Roy raised an eyebrow but didn't hesitate. "Very well," he said, nodding to Narcissa Black, Nagini, and Bela White. "Wait here for me." They acknowledged him with a nod, seated comfortably as Roy made his way toward the minister.

He knew exactly what this "idiot" wanted. Cornelius Fudge had always been wary, but desperate when it came to his own political survival. Roy stepped into the office and greeted him formally, a courteous nod paired with a subtle aura of dominance that even Fudge felt immediately.

"Roy," Fudge began, clearing his throat nervously, "I… I need you not to interfere in the fight between Dumbledore and myself. I… I will pay anything to ensure this."

Roy's lips curved into a faint, knowing smile. He leaned slightly forward, speaking with calm authority. "Very well. I will not involve myself in the upcoming election, nor in any conflict between you and Dumbledore. You have my word."

Fudge visibly relaxed, a mixture of relief and delight washing over his face. He had underestimated Roy before, but now he recognized the growing political power Roy wielded. Yet there was still a cautious wariness in his eyes; he knew Roy's influence could topple the unprepared in an instant.

Roy didn't leave it at promises. He extended his hand with a composed air. "I do, however, expect some positions within the Ministry of Magic," he said smoothly. "I have a list of posts I wish to hold."

Fudge, flustered but eager to maintain Roy's favor, quickly nodded. "Yes, yes! Anything you ask, I'll… I'll grant." He accepted the list Roy handed him without hesitation.

With the formalities concluded, Roy straightened, gave a final nod, and left the office. Outside, Narcissa, Nagini, and Bela White were waiting patiently. Roy approached them, his expression calm and measured. "Fudge agreed," he said simply. "The Ministry will be under competent management—at least where I have influence. Now, let's move on."

And with that, Roy's calculated rise within the wizarding world continued, his power growing silently, methodically, as he prepared for the challenges yet to come.

Roy received a letter requesting his presence at Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place. Without hesitation, he took Narcissa Black along and apparated to the hidden headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix.

Upon entering, he was greeted by familiar faces: Sirius Black, Lupin, Arthur and Molly Weasley, Fred and George, Ginny Weasley, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Moody, Nymphadora Tonks, and, of course, Harry.

Roy first approached Molly and Arthur Weasley, offering his condolences for the loss of Ron. Both were visibly moved, though trying to maintain composure. He then shook hands with Kingsley, Moody, Nymphadora, and Sirius, who all thanked him for saving Harry. Roy waved off their gratitude casually.

Meanwhile, Narcissa Black had returned from a conversation with the lords of the previous Black family and had begun scolding Sirius about finding a wife. Sirius shot a look at Roy, silently pleading for help. Roy shook his head with a small, understanding smile, acknowledging that Sirius already had his fair share of troubles. The two men exchanged a firm handshake, silently agreeing.

Kreacher, the house-elf, greeted Roy politely, surprising Harry with his unusual courtesy.

After pleasantries, Roy brought out a document and handed it to Fred and George Weasley. Their eyes lit up as he explained:

"I've invested in prank products, and the profits have tripled. I want to give you early 50% ownership of the store before you graduate. In two years, if profits double, you'll receive full control and continued profits."

Molly, seeing her sons' excitement, was delighted. She knew they would never be satisfied working in the Ministry.

With formalities concluded, everyone sat down to lunch. Conversations flowed, and Harry recounted the details of the Wizengamot trial. Moody, Kingsley, and Tonks all gave Roy approving nods for handling Dolores Umbridge.

After lunch, Roy, Sirius, and Harry went to meet the previous lords of the Black family. Everyone greeted Roy warmly, except Phineus Black, who was teasingly scolded by Roy:

"Did you miss me, Phineus?" Roy asked, grinning.

Phineus retorted sharply, but Roy persisted with his questions. "Where did Voldemort learn about black magic? And how did he know about the ancient wizard families who are in hiding?"

Phineus admitted he had been pondering these questions for a long time. Sirius asked for clarification, and Roy repeated the questions. Phineus could only answer the first: the Chamber of Secrets, though he admitted ignorance regarding the second. Roy nodded in acknowledgment, satisfied with what he had learned.

With his inquiries concluded, Roy bid farewell to everyone, took Narcissa Black with him, and departed Grimmauld Place, his mind already turning to the next step in his growing influence in the wizarding world.
