The day dragged on endlessly, each hour feeling heavier than the last. I couldn't pinpoint when exactly good days had become a distant memory, when simple relaxation had transformed into an impossible luxury. Every moment seemed to pile another burden onto my already overloaded shoulders.
My thoughts kept circling back to this morning's events. The image of Nadia in that thin nightgown, her silky legs exposed, had burned itself into my memory. Then came our awkward conversation about desire and attraction, followed by her bold request to kiss me.
Rejecting her had taken every ounce of self-control I possessed. All I wanted was to claim those soft, inviting lips and discover their taste.
The weight of the day finally drove me to seek relief through a video call with my brothers.
"You actually took in a complete stranger?" David's voice shot through the speakers, his disbelief evident.
