After Shen He brought Jeanne to the living room, he saw Hill waiting there. Without saying much, he sat down and asked directly, "Has Fury not relayed any more information to you?"
"No." Agent Hill shook her head. "But the communication method is an encrypted channel known only to the two of us."
She also knew that her small actions were only possible with the tacit approval of the person in front of her. Now, it seemed that Fury's side had encountered a serious situation, and there was no point in continuing to hide anything.
"Then let's just wait."
Shen He closed his eyes after saying this, looking like he didn't want to say anything more.
In reality, he was contacting some Servants in other worlds in his mind. Saiki could come over at any time; after all, he could just travel back in time to the moment he left and it wouldn't affect anything. However, Lelouch seemed to be at a crucial moment and couldn't leave for the time being.
After communicating with the Servants for a while, Tony and Steve arrived one after another.
Not long after, Dr. Banner suddenly submitted an emergency video call request.
"Around eleven o'clock last night, our satellites detected a high-intensity Gamma Rays burst south of Mexico. Wait, are you guys in a meeting?" Dr. Banner saw Tony and the others on the other end of the video.
"The location south of Mexico is Fury's distress call address," Coulson whispered to Shen He.
"Banner, how is the project you're in charge of coming along?" Shen He looked at Banner in the video.
"The algorithm is basically complete, but it's still difficult to monitor the entire world. However, if we can narrow the specified range to one-tenth of the global area, there won't be a problem."
Dr. Banner's research project in Chaldea involves monitoring and tracking abnormal energy fluctuations worldwide via satellite, primarily focusing on Gamma Rays. He's the foremost scientist globally in this field.
"In that case, Banner, you are authorized to participate in this meeting. Come to the villa immediately."
"Understood." Banner keenly sensed that something significant was about to happen.
However, he cherished his current life and didn't want to see this hard-won peace disrupted.
"That guy's pretty good," Tony rarely praised others. "I can't compete with him in quantum mechanics, but that's just because I haven't put much effort into it."
Shen He rolled his eyes, ignoring the arrogant guy.
"Since we've detected a Gamma Rays burst, it's basically a problem with the Tesseract." Shen He glanced at Agent Hill, then at Coulson. "How long until Fury arrives?"
"Ten minutes, sir. He's in a bad state right now." Coulson held a tablet, receiving information from the rescue team. "We found him crushed under the rubble, with four broken ribs and significant bleeding. Many agents and military soldiers didn't make it out of the same area."
Shen He didn't say anything.
He wasn't interested in sticking up for these strangers. Plenty of innocent people had died at Loki's hands, and they still managed to gain a huge fanbase.
After all, the idea of everyone being equal was a joke. However, this could serve as an excuse to go off on Thor, the brother-obsessed maniac.
Ten minutes passed. Shen He's mind stirred, and Saiki Kusuo appeared beside him.
Without saying much, he vanished. Not long after, Saiki reappeared, bringing Fury, who looked completely unharmed, with him.
"Long time no see, everyone." Fury uncomfortably stretched his body.
One second he was heavily injured and losing consciousness, and the next his body was completely restored, even his clothes were back to normal. Moreover, the environment had suddenly changed.
If it were anyone else, they might have gone completely crazy.
"Just wait a little longer," Shen He gestured for him to sit down. "Wait for Dr. Banner."
"Banner?" Fury sat down, quickly regaining his composure. He then observed the expressions of the people in front of him, and gradually, his face became somewhat unsightly. "You all knew what was going to happen, didn't you?"
"If you're referring to you bringing in the aliens, I think so," Tony said with a playful smile. "How does it feel to want to save the world, but end up destroying it instead?"
"Damn it!"
Fury could only vent his frustration with a curse.
Originally, it was because of the disaster Shen He had mentioned that he decided to speed up the research on the Tesseract.
As a result, it turned out that he was the one who personally pushed the disaster to happen. What's even more infuriating was that Shen He and the others clearly knew, but did nothing and didn't tell him.
But Fury couldn't do anything now. With the financial resources, material resources, and personnel he had at hand, he was simply unable to retrieve the Tesseract.

"Aliens? The evil god Loki?"
Dr. Banner was probably the only one completely in the dark, and the situation clearly exceeded his expectations.
The others all turned to Shen He.
Having anticipated all of this beforehand, he had become the backbone of everyone.
"Are you sure Loki called out Nebula's name?" Shen He asked Fury, seeking confirmation.
"I may have lost an eye, but my ears still work," Fury said, his face still grim. "That blue-skinned woman has a lot of her body replaced with machinery. She's incredibly strong and agile. My people were no match for her. Also, she seems to be following Loki's orders. Maybe you should tell us everything you know."
Fury didn't like having so little information.
Back when he was the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., there wasn't much in the world he didn't know.
"Phase one remains unchanged." Shen He ignored Fury's last sentence. He pondered for a moment, then addressed everyone, "Regardless, we need to find Loki first. Dr. Banner, I'm putting you in charge of tracking down the Tesseract. Also, Natasha, Hawkeye may be gathering some necessary materials. You're responsible for finding and capturing him. I'll have Jeanne provide directional information."
The original plot had indeed changed.
This was expected, since Loki wasn't stupid. He knew Chaldea on Earth could defeat the Destroyer, so he wouldn't foolishly come alone.
However, Shen He hadn't anticipated that the new arrival would be Nebula, one of Thanos's adopted daughters.
