Entities are just differently colored shapes of energy floating in a vast empty space. There is no time or actual space around them, at least, in the truest sense. There's only a dark void that stretched infinitely in all directions.
In terms of time, it exists such that a moment or event can only exist currently or right now. Simply put, only the now exists while the before and the after do not. This means that the things that the entities experience in the present do not become their past experience after a period of time has passed, nor could they be considered to be their future experience before time has passed.
To give a simple example, if you had time related abilities, you wouldn't be able to travel back to the past or to the future, as there's no past or future to travel to in the first place. You couldn't even stop time from flowing, the only thing you could do is slow it down to an extent.
The entities take the form of geometric shapes of different colours. Aside from Cubix and Prism, all other entities are spherical in shape and have one or two colours maximum.
Prism was originally an object that evolved after being given sentience. Both he and Cubix have more than two colours. Cubix was designed having multiple colors and Prism reflected Cubix's colors.
Objects are things created by entities. Most resemble their creators in both colour and shape but, there are a few which have a different shapes from their creator but still retain the same colours as them.
Objects contain abilities which their creators can access and are able to use. The ability is dependent on the type of object created and the purpose with which the object was created in the first place.
Basically, if you create an object while imagining a specific purpose for it to accomplish, then the ability will reflect that thought process. Of course, it can also give out a random ability if you just create it without a specific purpose in mind.
Most of the entities created a copy of themselves. They all shared the same ability as a result. Due to the lack of innovation, the ability they use is simply being able to store large amounts of energy. The stored energy mostly acts as a light source.
The one's who created different objects were able to get different abilities as opposed to those who didn't. Here is a list of some of them— the objects as well as their abilities. The list is ranked from the strongest ability currently.
1. [Negate]
This object was created by Aloe and gives a defensive ability. It gives Aloe the ability to nullify most if not all other energy. Aloe is able to gather any and all forms of energy and convert them to pure energy–if they're not, after which the energy is stored. This ability has the highest energy consumption and consumption rate.
Aloe can detect energy around a specific target. Using that information, Aloe can release the stored energy with same amount of energy but with inversed properties as that target and effectively nullify both energies.
For example, it's like how -5 and +5 make 0 (- 5 + 5 = 0).
At full potential, it would allow Aloe to not just nullify energy but also alter it into anything. It would also allow Aloe to become energy itself, effectively making it almost impossible for Aloe to be in any king of threat.
Aloe would also be capable of using any ability that Aloe has interacted with– whether Aloe nullified, blocked or simply saw an ability in action. Aloe would know the amount of energy used and how it was shaped in order to make that ability and copy or recreate it.
However, Aloe's personality are what hold this ability back from its true potential. Aloe has no desire for fighting and is mostly satisfied with just remaining as is.
2. [Barrier]
This object was created by Gold. It is a defensive ability. It gives him the ability to make any kind of shield around a designated target (Either himself or someone else). The shield takes energy it comes into contact with to strengthen itself. Basically, if you hit the shield with an energy attack, the shield absorbs and converts that energy and uses it to strengthen itself further. The stronger the energy it absorbs, the sturdier it becomes.
The only way to get through it would be to destroy it instantly. Or use rapid pure physical attacks while limiting the energy around the shield so it does not repair or strengthen itself.
Gold lacks proficiency in using this ability, meaning it's not very efficient as it can only designate one target at a given time. However, the ability's conditions are so simplistic that all Gold has to do is imbue energy to create it, and it will do the rest on its own.
At full potential, Gold would be able to create multiple shields of different kinds. This includes making barriers and place them directly on the entities rather than a just shield around them. He would even be able to layer multiple barriers on top of one another. Make barriers that deflect or reflect attacks instead of just simply taking them head on.
3. [Inferno]
This object was created by Amber. It gives an offensive-defensive ability but focuses on offence. It gives her the ability to created fire and use it in different ways such as making multiple fire balls or a fire wall. It has the highest destruction capabilities among the other five objects.
Amber wields this ability with the most proficiency as she is able to use it both offensively and defensively whilst expanding little energy. It is countered by Aqueous's ability but is still equal to it.
At full potential, Amber would be capable of burning energy itself. She could convert energy into sparks that would combust instantaneously making it effective for both offense and defence.
Her flames would produce extreme amounts of heat that gradually burns incoming energy attacks, and light so bright that for a moment, it completely changes the dark space around her into a pure white zone that stuns anyone around it except for her.
The light reduces the speed of which energy moves, effectively reducing incoming energy attacks. She is unaffected by this and furthermore, she gains a temporary gain in speed and power output. Essentially, this attack debuffs her enemies whilst buffing her in the process.
4. [Aqua]
This object was created by Aqueous. It is a defensive-offensive ability but focuses on defence. It gives him the ability to freely alter his form from solid to liquid to negate physical attacks. It is mainly for defence and evasion as it has very little to no destruction capabilities.
Aqueous made it to counter Amber's ability. This effectively made the two abilities equal as Amber's ability couldn't break through Aqueous's defences and Aqueous's ability lacked the proper firepower to deal damage to Amber.
At full potential, Aqueous could alter energy around him into liquid and also integrate it with himself. Using this, he could grow exponentially in size and even make limitless miniature copies of himself.
This also meant that as long as a part of him– no matter the size, was still active, he could reform, regrow or regenerate himself even if he was reduced to almost nothing. He could also accomplish the same thing if even one of his copies– regardless of whether it's the original or a copy, is alive.
This ability also helps him nullify any and all physical attacks along with some energy attacks as well. Being able to alter his state means that only he can control the energy that makes up him and his clones. Effectively, he can cancel any debuffs on himself before they occur.
5. [Burst]
This object was created by Cream. It is a defensive-offensive ability. It is perfectly balanced in terms of both offensive and defensive capabilities.
It gives her the ability to absorb a certain amounts of energy and store it. The stored energy can be released in a wide area attack. She remains unharmed since the attack originated from herself while her surroundings are left dissimated.
Cream can be considered the weakest because although her defence is good, it can't compare to the other three's defence, or it can't withstand Amber's offense. However, in a battle of attrition, she would win since her ability takes the least amount of energy to operate.
At full potential, Cream would be able to gain full control of any and all energy around a specific area. This means that she could effectively use said energy without restrictions and even become the energy itself under the right conditions.
She could also use the wide area attack as a smoke screen. The dispersed energy that created the smoke screen would disrupt the surrounding energy and make it difficult to sense Cream's presence.
That very same dispersed energy can interfere with any energy used in that zone. This would decrease the attack power and defensive capability of her enemies.
Of course, none of them are able to use their abilities to their fullest potential, which is why this list is the way it is. It would have been a completely different story otherwise.
