The King of One Highsool Hero
Chapter 12 — Blood Makes Resolve
Ryan's body trembled.
Blood ran down his face, his vision shaking—but his feet moved anyway.
He got up.
Slow. Heavy. Angry.
"Ryan—!" Jun shouted.
Ryan didn't answer.
He ran.
His fist slammed straight into Fing's face.
CRACK.
Fing stumbled back, eyes wide. He touched his ear—
Blood.
Ryan grinned through blood-stained teeth.
"Yeah," Ryan muttered. "You bleed too."
Jun forced himself up.
One goon rushed him—
Jun kicked him in the chest, sending him flying into the other. The second goon slashed—
Jun dodged, grabbed the guy by the collar, and smashed him into the wall.
Nia sprinted toward a fallen motorcycle.
"Lisa—here!"
Lisa ran over, scanning it. "Key's gone!"
Nia's eyes narrowed. "Doesn't matter."
She tore open the panel, grabbed two wires—green and red—and slammed them together.
The engine roared to life.
Lisa laughed. "You're insane."
Ryan charged again.
Two punches. Fing blocked one—
Ryan kicked him square in the face.
Fing screamed. "BASTARD!"
He countered with a dirty kick, the blade slicing Ryan's cheek.
Blood sprayed.
Ryan laughed.
He spun—
WHAM.
A spinning kick smashed into Fing's jaw.
Fing fell.
Ryan dropped with him, ripping the hidden knife from Fing's shoe.
Fing's eyes widened.
"No—!"
Ryan drove the knife into Fing's back.
Fing screamed.
Ryan grabbed his face.
"You said I'd die?"
He slammed Fing's head into the wall.
CRASH.
The wall collapsed.
Jun grabbed one goon, kicked his chest—
CRACK. Arm broken.
The second tried to stand—
Jun spun and kicked him in the mouth, teeth flying.
Jun spotted a metal bat.
He grabbed it and swung—
THUD.
The goon dropped. Out cold.
"LET'S GO!" Lisa screamed. "COPS ARE COMING!"
Sirens echoed in the distance.
Ryan staggered to the bike.
Lisa drove. Jun jumped onto the other. Nia took control of the second bike.
Ryan's eyes fluttered.
He leaned forward, collapsing against Lisa's back.
Darkness took him.
Next Morning — Breaking News
"Authorities discovered three heavily injured individuals late last night.
The suspects were identified as known criminals involved in gang-related activity…"
Fing lay handcuffed in a hospital bed.
So did his two men.
Ryan sat on a couch, wrapped in bandages, eating pizza.
He sighed.
"Man… this is getting deadly."
Jun dropped beside him, exhausted.
"Bro. I almost died. I need to eat everything."
Across the room, Lisa and Nia slept peacefully, curled up like nothing happened.
Elsewhere.
Gwan Nin sat in silence.
His eyes burned with fury as he read the report.
"Shit you telling me fing got arrested," he muttered.
The police were closing in.
He stood slowly.
"That's it," he said coldly.
"I'll kill those little bastards myself."
High above the city, inside a tower—
President Li Fong smoked calmly.
A man knelt before him, head bleeding.
As li fong walk slowly to the man kneeling.
Li Fong pressed the burning cigarette into the man's skin.
The scream echoed.
Li Fong smiled.
"Huh… Gwan Nin really thinks I'm playing."
He leaned closer.
"If he doesn't kill those kids…"
He laughed softly.
"I'll kill him."
Around him, dozens of figures bowed in silence.
The war had only just begun.
