Hana arrived, and the three juniors greeted her briefly; however, they had to go and soon took their leave. Kan had been staring at Sina as she walked away earlier, feeling as though Sina had something important to say to her. The three of them walked toward the bus stop together. As they reached the outer gate, kan happened to catch a glimpse of Sara walking behind a female student named Kana though kan didn't know her. She wondered if Sara's group had a new member, but since the two of them were just walking normally without any suspicious behavior, kan didn't think much of it. Yin, who was riding his bike out of school, rode up next to kan and pulled her hair slightly; it seemed he was playfully teasing her as a "punishment" because kan had caused two teachers to find out about his work. This interaction was noticed by Siv Siv, who thought it was a bit strange, while Hana didn't think anything of it. Hana then spoke to kan, apologizing for not telling her sooner about her breakup with Kim a few many days ago. Kan froze how could she suddenly bring this up, and what was she supposed to say right after finishing exams? Hana laughed seeing kan's expression and patted her shoulder, saying she didn't need to say anything; she just wanted to tell her so kan wouldn't say she wasn't informed. The bus arrived, and Siv Siv got on first, while Hana and kan waited for the next one. Suddenly, a voice called out, "Senior!" It seemed he had gathered enough courage to finally call out, even though usually, even if they met at school or lived in the same village, he didn't dare to speak and acted as if they weren't acquainted. This time he was a bit bolder; it was the Class 11D President.
"Oh! Exams are over; how was it?" kan asked, a bit surprised because even though they were at the same school, they never met, and even if they did, they never spoke. Why did he have the courage to call out this time? Hana turned to look at him, raising an eyebrow slightly before smiling.
"Yes! I…" He hesitated a bit in answering but finally decided to say it was no problem. "It's nothing! I just saw Senior and called out since we aren't inside the school." Hana, who had been quiet, immediately asked him out of curiosity, "Why did you have to include 'inside the school' at the end of that sentence?" Hearing Hana's question, his eyes blinked rapidly as he thought about the question, then he smiled awkwardly. "Because at school, many people know Senior; if I call out to you, it might seem strange. It's hard to explain, but please don't think of it in a bad way!" kan tried to suppress her laughter, never imagining that the Class 11D President, whom Sina relied on, had such a personality ( that when Sina and kan in siemreap ask chart to him about hav parents ). The bus arrived, and they boarded together, getting off at the same stop and walking the same path. It was the first time the Class 11D President had walked at the same time as the two seniors. Before parting ways, Hana looked at him for a moment and asked, "Over the past while, are you sure you've gotten better?" It was a high-quality question, different from the usual "Are you sure you're okay?" or "Are you okay?" kan listened intently, looking at the junior's face. He seemed frozen by the question because it had been a long time since he heard it; people around him had asked it constantly after two weeks or a month had passed, and then it stopped. He didn't want this question to continue because it was hard to answer, though he didn't take offense. He was a bit tired of it but had adapted to accept it. Hearing the question made him think about himself for a moment, and he smiled slightly while nodding. Immediately, Hana said, "Hmm!" and walked toward her path, waving goodbye to kan, who would split off shortly after. Before leaving, kan also said goodbye to the junior. Walking alone, she thought about how "that person" had finished his exams but hadn't hurried to leave referring to Tan. But why should she care about him? Her phone received consecutive messages. One message made her raise her eyebrows in wonder; she looked at it but didn't reply yet. Meanwhile, another message made her calm down a bit; it was exactly what she thought it was from Sina. She definitely had something going on. She had sent a photo of a water bottle; it wasn't a plastic bottle, but a metal-style bottle popular for maintaining temperature. The bottle was maroon. Below the image, there was text written by Sina... "Senior! I think this water isn't water... I'd like a moment to discuss this with you." Kan was quite puzzled. "Water isn't water" what did that mean? She didn't hesitate or ask much in the chat. Oh, it looked like the two of them had something serious to discuss, but kan didn't realize that it was only her who thought they were discussing things; for Sina, it was indeed so, but she seemed to have boundaries in their discussion. Kan didn't know Sina very well yet. She decided to set a meeting for Sunday, asking Sina to come to her house, as she was too lazy to go out on a Sunday. "Thank you, Senior... see you that day." The simple message from Sina ended. Meanwhile, she had to smile awkwardly at the other message that had been sent; she never expected him to message her. Suddenly, out of nowhere, it was Niv. "Senior! It's me, Niv. Do you remember? I finished my exams! Do you have any wishes for me?" He followed with a laughing cat emoji. Then he put a crying emoji, asking, "Why didn't Senior come to watch my volleyball match that day? I'm going to pursue you! Because before I was busy, but now I have some time..." accompanied by a laughing monkey emoji. Kan was extremely confused. What was this? Messaging out of the blue, and not just a few lines, but a long paragraph? Not wanting a long chat, she just sent back a single emoji: a question mark. It was the first time someone had messaged her like this so suddenly; she felt a bit nervous. If it were Tan, she might feel both nervous and excited, but this was Niv, whom she didn't know well. She remembered clearly that that day he said something strange when they first met. At that time, she had gone to the school volleyball court for a short break from talking with Liv about the photo she had asked Liv to send regarding the investigation into the broken window. At that time, he had hit a ball from behind, and the sound was so loud it almost hit her; because it came from behind her back, she was startled, but her reaction was too late if it were going to hit, it would have hit because she couldn't dodge. The sound of the ball hitting the tile floor of the court indicated it was no small force. It was quiet where she had been talking with Liv earlier. Suddenly, he appeared and said something strange: "Before leaving, doesn't Senior have any words for me?" and "Aren't you going to wish me a win in the match?" It sounded absurd; after hitting a ball that wasn't exactly light, he came to apologize as if he hadn't heard the impact and then asked these questions. At that time, kan was a bit stunned but said nothing. So, she considered that their first meeting. Later, meeting a second time, it was even clearer that he was a volleyball player; that time Siv Siv had invited Hana and kan to watch volleyball. She didn't realize he was an actual player; it seemed like niv had been waiting for a long time and acted as if he knew kan closely. Thus, kan thought it was their second meeting without knowing that, in fact, Niv had been interested since she had the incident with Lin, his classmate. At that time, Lin had thrown milk at kan because she thought kan wanted to contact Chay, while kan was only asking for information about Chay. That was when Niv was sitting in class from a distance, looking through the window. He saw kan throw it back at Lin; he laughed to himself in the class when he saw kan's stunned reaction before she picked it up and threw it back at Lin. From then on, he got to know more about kan because Lin was frustrated and had her friends, Miew and Tang, come to invite her to Sara's class. But Lin was frustrated and didn't go, so they talked and he found out she had a problem with kan. Niv sat hugging a volleyball as if looking at the scenery outside, but he was listening intently to Lin's conversation. Even though he didn't speak to Lin, he showed an interested smile regarding kan's story. He listened while pretending not to pay attention, even when his friend pulled the ball away from him to play with it. Niv turned from the scenery to smile at his friend, who was throwing the ball to show off his skills and asking Niv to evaluate and give him a score. While Niv's face was focused on his friend, his ears were listening intently. "You guys go ahead! I'm not going..." Lin refused, her hand tightly holding a pen as she scribbled in her book. "Hey, what's wrong with you? Why are you acting like this?" Lin looked at them for a bit because they asked about a sensitive point that she was very annoyed by, thinking of kan, but she didn't say it. "What? Did something happen? You look like you're angry at someone!" Miew asked curiously. Tang also added with a slight laugh, "Maybe someone was rude to her?" "Enough! It's Mi kan!" Using the word "Mi"(in Khmer for girl) was very harsh, showing rudeness, especially since kan was a senior, yet Lin called her by her name as an equal and even added a rude prefix. "She acted as if she was coming to ask about the window, going around asking only the boys. Just because the teacher asked for an investigation, she dared to stick her head out of the nest. I heard that for years she never stuck her head out, but with this broken window thing, she acts like she's coming out to solve it and asks only the boys, especially Chay." Lin spoke angrily. Her two friends laughed. "Lin, you act as if you don't know Chay." Regardless, earlier they hadn't paid attention to the name kan, but suddenly they remembered. "Kan? That senior who walks with "Mi" Junior vi's group?" Miew asked, making sure. Lin nodded, and Tang added with an amused laugh... "That's right! That 'Buffalo' group has two Grade 12 seniors that Kan person and that 'Mad Dog' who is nosy about other people's business. She's in Class 12D; what's her name?... Oh..." she hummed a bit dismissively, "her name is Mai. That one is nosy about Tuna..." She accidentally let it slip. A female student nearby asked when she heard Tuna's name because they were curious why Sara's group was friends with a Grade 10 student like Tuna. "Yes, we're very curious; even that Tuna person got to be in Sara's vlogs and short stories!" They felt jealous. To avoid revealing the plot to mistreat Tuna, they made an excuse that Tuna had helped Sara on the road, so they knew each other and were friends. Though not in detail, Lin made the excuse that they had to go to Sara's class first and then left! Niv heard all these words, smiled a bit, and whispered, "Senior kan!" His friend asked what he had just said. He diverted the topic by taking the volleyball back from his friend and running out of the class. Generally, they played by stealing the ball from each other, and he said it was nothing.
Back to the present, the message kan sent back made him confused. "Is Senior joking with me?" Regardless, he smiled because he liked kan. He said, "Senior, what's there to hold back? Even if Senior doesn't give permission, I won't force it. Even if you refuse, I will still tell you my feelings that I want to pursue(woo) Senior!"
"My God! Why is he so stubborn, or should I just reject him directly? But he said even if I reject him, it's not illegal for him to confess that he wants to pursue me. He said he 'wants to pursue' but hasn't started the 'pursuit operation' yet. But through this chat, is this called pursuing or not?" Even though she didn't message to ask him, suddenly Niv sent: "woo doesn't include this long message; it's just a notification!" 'followed by another laughing monkey emoji! This made kan extremely annoyed, so she blocked his Facebook and chat.
"Huh? Is Senior playing for real?" He laughed in disbelief. His mother came down and asked what was so funny that he was laughing unusually. It wasn't a "pink" laugh (romantic), but an "orange" laugh filled with annoyance, disbelief, liking, and curiosity.
