Chapter 76 - Incitement

When the door of the waiting room finally opened, Louis did not even take a single step forward before a floating, transparent interface appeared in front of him, softly glowing as if it were part of the air itself.

[ Player L.K, please choose the village you wish to join to participate in the Chunin Exam from the following options:

Village of Leaves – Konoha / Village of Sand – Suna / Village of Mist – Kiri / Village of Stone – Iwa / Village of Clouds – Kumo / Village of Sound – Oto. ]

The options passed before his eyes, one village after another, each name carrying a different history and a different path. Louis did not need much time to think.

Konoha… the center of the main events in this world, the heart of the story, and the place where all important threads crossed.

His choice was decisive.

[ Selected: Village of Leaves – Konoha. ]

[ Please choose your bloodline in this world. ]

[ Note: The selected bloodline must belong to the village you previously chose. ]

This time, the decision was not made on impulse.

Louis had already decided from the beginning.

Among all bloodlines, there was one that every reincarnator knew...

a bloodline full of danger… yet carrying power that could not be ignored.

The Uchiha.

Not even a second passed before a new warning appeared in front of him, in a clear alert color:

[ Warning: The Uchiha clan in this world is facing the risk of annihilation. Are you sure about your choice? ]

If he were an ordinary player, he would have retreated without hesitation.

The word "annihilation" alone was enough to make anyone rethink their decision.

But Louis was not worried.

The massacre incident… had already ended.

As long as he acted carefully, there would be no direct danger.

And of course, there was another reason he did not say out loud.

The true goal… the Sharingan.

But not now.

Everything had its time.

Louis confirmed his choice without hesitation.

[ Bloodline confirmed: Uchiha. ]

The interface changed once more, revealing a new list:

[ Please choose one skill from the system list. ]

Louis scanned the displayed skills, offensive abilities, defensive abilities, and various support techniques.

Until his eyes stopped on one familiar and favored name.

[ Instant Teleportation (Limited): 3 uses per day. ]

He smiled lightly.

It was not the strongest skill, but it was one of the most flexible… and the most dangerous when used wisely.

His choice was made.

[ Skill selected. ]

[ Please customize your appearance in this world. ]

This time, he did not leave it to chance.

He did not want a random appearance.

He chose a look close to Uchiha Sasuke's, calm features, and a cold gaze.

But with one clear difference…

White hair, similar to his hair in the real world.

[ Confirming selections, please wait. ]

A few seconds passed, feeling longer than they really were.

Then the final notification appeared.

[ Based on the player's choices, and considering the current state of the Uchiha clan, you have been assigned the identity:

"Uchiha Kyosuke," the twin brother of the character "Uchiha Sasuke." ]

[ Good luck. ]

In the next moment, darkness swallowed everything.

The interface disappeared.

The system's voice faded away.

And when Louis opened his eyes again…

He found himself lying on a simple bed, inside a quiet room, its walls strangely familiar.

But before he could think about anything else, a different interface appeared in front of him:

[ Please choose the main focus of the player's talent from the following primary options:

Ninjutsu / Taijutsu / Genjutsu / Fūinjutsu / Kenjutsu. ]

[ The player will gain excellent talent in the selected option and average talent in all other options. ]

[ Note: You may discover other hidden training paths later. ]

Louis was surprised. He had not expected another choice related to talents.

But after thinking for a moment, he pressed one of the options.

The moment he made his decision, he heard a voice coming from outside the room:

"Kyosuke, if you keep sleeping longer, we'll be late for the academy."

The voice was familiar to Louis.

It was the voice of his twin brother in this world.

"I'm coming," Louis replied as he got out of bed.

The world of ninja…

had just begun.

In the following days, Louis continued going to the academy together with Sasuke, step by step, while carefully gathering as much basic information as possible about this world. He did not live his days like a normal child, but like someone placing the pieces of a large puzzle into their correct positions.

He soon learned that the Hokage provided both him and Sasuke with a generous monthly allowance, based on the inheritance left behind by the Uchiha clan. Louis knew very well that if it were not for the name and status of Uchiha Itachi, both the Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, and Danzo would have swallowed that inheritance without hesitation. Even so, Louis was grateful for this situation, as he did not need to worry about daily expenses, unlike someone else who spent most of his time eating instant ramen cups.

Louis deliberately avoided getting close to Naruto or the main group, choosing not to get involved with them at such an early stage. He knew that everything had its proper time, and that drawing attention too early was not always a good idea.

However, this did not stop one person from constantly bothering him.

"Hey, hey, Kyosuke, what do you think about going on a date this weekend?"

"What do you think about the bento I made? Is it tasty?"

"Who's stronger, you or Sasuke?"

It was Yamanaka Ino.

After Sasuke ignored her and the other girls, completely, she shifted her focus to Louis for no clear reason. Although Louis did not mind flirting with girls from time to time, this particular girl was close to driving him insane.

For a brief moment, a dark thought crossed his mind:

What if he erased her from existence just to gain some peace and focus on his plans?

Every time he went out to explore the village, it felt as if some invisible magnet pulled her toward him, making them meet again and again.

Louis finally sighed and said seriously,

"I don't have time to play around. We'll graduate from the academy soon, so we need to prepare."

Ino smiled confidently and glanced toward a blond child wearing bright orange clothes.

"But you've already mastered the main skills, unlike someone else… so why not take a few days to rest?"

'Damn it… are all children in this world this careless?' Louis thought to himself.

He replied indifferently,

"Forget it. If you manage to get first place in the graduation exam, I'll agree to your request."

Ino's eyes lit up.

"Really?!"

"Really," Louis answered coldly. "Now don't bother me until then."

Contrary to his expectations, the girl looked full of enthusiasm and confidence, as if first place was already guaranteed.

Louis sighed once more.

"Kids…"

"Aren't you a kid too?" a mocking voice came from behind him.

Louis turned around and saw someone with features very similar to his own.

"Sasuke, I think it's time we have a serious conversation."

Sasuke was surprised by the change in his brother's tone and could only mutter,

"Do we really have to?"

"Yes, but…" Louis looked around. "Let's go home first."

Louis knew why Sasuke frowned. The "serious conversation" could only be about the Uchiha clan massacre that happened a few years ago, a memory Sasuke had been trying to avoid ever since Louis hinted at discussing it.

After returning home, the two sat facing each other at the table. Louis remained silent for a moment, thinking of the best way to open this wound.

Finally, he spoke.

"You're seeking revenge, aren't you?"

Sasuke raised his head and looked straight into his brother's eyes, anger burning within him.

"Of course. I'll kill him… even if it's the last thing I ever do."

Louis sighed deeply.

"You're still naïve, Sasuke."

"Huh?" Sasuke said in shock. "What do you mean?"

Louis asked calmly, in a deadly quiet tone,

"Who do you think was stronger... our father, the head of the Uchiha clan, or our older brother, Itachi?"

"Of course it was..." Sasuke hesitated and couldn't finish his sentence.

Louis continued,

"And don't you think the Hokage is the strongest in this village? How do you think the massacre happened without his knowledge?"

"This…"

"And how do you think Itachi managed to kill our parents so easily, without any resistance?"

Sasuke opened and closed his mouth repeatedly, unable to answer.

Louis finally said,

"It's simple. Our older brother was brainwashed by the Hokage and his associates. They convinced him that the Uchiha clan was a danger to the village and pushed him toward rebellion."

"This… this… this…" Sasuke felt as if the ground beneath him was shaking.

Louis continued without mercy,

"As for our father, when he learned the truth, he didn't want to fight his own son in a bloody conflict. That was exactly what the Hokage and his people wanted... to eliminate both sides at once."

"So when the time came, both our father and mother accepted our brother's choice. Their only condition was that we would not be harmed."

"No… no… this… this can't be…" Sasuke muttered, unable to believe what he was hearing.

But Louis did not stop.

"Do you think the village cares about us? No. They're just afraid of Itachi's revenge if they harm us."

"That's why they keep us alive... to brainwash us, just like they did to our older brother."

Louis finally stopped when he noticed Sasuke's body trembling violently, as if he were about to collapse.

In a softer voice, he said,

"Think about it carefully. We'll continue this conversation later."

Louis stood up and returned to his room, leaving Sasuke sitting there, eyes wide in shock, his body still shaking… as the first seeds of doubt began to take root in his heart.
