"Dean Wu, can I really be discharged?"
Lin Wan Yi sat on the hospital bed, her face still pale, but her eyes were firm.
Dean Wu frowned.
"Mr. Lin, you've just had a baby five days ago!"
"Five days is enough." Lin Wan Yi smiled briefly. "I know my body; it's better to rest at home."
Dean Wu wanted to say something more.
The door was pushed open.
Gu Yanshen walked in. His complexion was better than it was five days ago, but it was still quite pale.
"Dean." His voice was deep. "Let her be discharged."
Dean Wu looked at him.
"Mr. Gu, you just donated blood yourself!"
"I know." Gu Yanshen walked to Lin Wan Yi's bedside. "But the baby needs her."
He paused.
"I need her at home too."
Dean Wu opened his mouth. Finally, he sighed.
"Alright." He turned to instruct the nurse. "Prepare the discharge paperwork."
Half an hour later.
At the hospital entrance.
Lin Wan Yi held onto Gu Yanshen's arm, walking slowly out.
