A week later…
Hope's condition improved with each passing day. Color slowly returned to her face, and her strength came back little by little. After another round of examinations, Dr. Ashton finally confirmed that she would be ready for surgery within the next few days.
The news filled Summer with joy. Once the surgery was over, Hope would finally be cured.
She eagerly shared the update with her mother and Chloe. "Hope will be fine soon," she said with a relieved smile. "I can't wait to see her running around and playing like a normal child again."
"Me neither," Chloe chimed in immediately, her face brightening.
"She is recovering fast," Holy added warmly. "It's all thanks to Dr. Ashton."
Summer nodded. "You are right. Without him, this wouldn't have been possible. He has been checking on Hope constantly."
"Dr. Ashton is really kind," Chloe said, grinning widely. "I wish I could work on his team once I finish my studies."
