Drake's POV
I sat in my little car with shaky hands. "Can I really go on with this?" I asked myself.
There was a knock on my window and I rolled it down.
"Drake, you've been acting weird today, are you okay?" Shelly, my boss asked me while bending over.
"Yes, I'm fine. I have just been feeling really bad. My stomach hurts and I also feel feverish."
"You can go home. You should have mentioned it earlier, why didn't you?" She scolded and straightened up.
"I just didn't want to seem like I'm dodging working hours. I just got a leave some months ago for my wedding and honeymoon. I don't want any problems."
"You know how this works right? We give leave for issues beyond you. You should take care of yourself more. Do you know that the news you have been able to get from us made the highest sales ever? We need you in good condition to make sure you're still an asset to us."
