Elena's POV
Zoe had locked her door and didn't get out, I heard her on the phone though when I placed my ears to her door.
"Ryan, you need to calm down. Maybe she didn't tell the press anything." Rosalyn placed her hand against his arms.
"I know she did, you'll see I asked someone to investigate the whole thing and I should be updated anytime soon." He was pacing all over. This is bad press and it might cost him some money.
I chose to remain silent throughout the exchange, I know he doesn't really like me around him.
His phone rang and he picked up without staring at the screen.
"Hello."
I couldn't make out what was being said on the other end of the phone.
His jaws tightened and he looked even more upset. "So you would like to terminate the deal for the hotel?"
He listened in again and Rosalyn and I shared a confused look.
"Are you aware of how much this would cost you?"
