Ryan's POV
The bullet missed me by just a few inches. I turned the table to the side as I laid on my side. I took my gun out in seconds and took a clean shot at the person who shot at me. He fell with a bullet hole to his head.
Other people in the restaurant turned and took to their heels. They all headed to the door. Pushing over each other.
Ferdinand's personal guard had covered him and was taking him outside. I didn't want him to leave unscathed so I aimed the bullet at his legs and he howled in pain.
A smile reached my lips and I stood up and used the crowd as a cover. Walking out in their midst. I reached into my inner suitcase pocket and discovered that the contract was there in my pocket.
"I guess my Dad taught me how to survive even as a business man."
I made a decision to not use my car that I came with. I am aware that they will be waiting for me by the car.
I kept following the crowd as I pulled out my phone and called George.
