Elena's POV
I can't believe what is happening, Nonna and my Dad.
Nonna pushed my Dad away and tried getting to me but I took a huge step away from her.
"How long has this been going on for?" I asked with a drained tone.
"There's nothing really…."
"You're lying, Nonna or do I say Anita. Now I know why you have been too kind to me. You were just trying to get with my Dad."
"That's enough, Elena." My father chided from behind her. Though she looked regretful with tears streaming down her face, my father looked just okay.
"You won't shut me down, Dad. Not anymore, I am going through so much because of a marriage you forced on me and you're here frolicking around with the maid."
A loud sob shook Nonna's body and my father rushed to hold her.
"I didn't mean to hurt you, I promise. Everything just happened so fast, please don't be mad at me."
"You both should just stay the hell away from me. I hate you!" I stormed out of the kitchen and ran all the way to my room.
